FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS • How does the Magimix Vision Toaster work? The Vision Toaster uses infrared technology and patented heat reflectors to ensure even heating. Four quartz heating tubes – one in each corner – guarantee even toasting for professional results. • What kinds of bread can be used? The Vision Toaster can be used for all types of bread (sliced bread, bagels, English muffins, French baguettes, etc.). A special bagel setting can be used to toast only one side. Select the defrost setting for frozen slices of bread. • Do the glass sides get hot? Cool air is circulated between the dual glass panes to minimize heat, but the glass will become warm/hot to the touch.  Please read and follow all instructions carefully. • How strong are the glass walls?  Aren’t they going to break? The walls are constructed with thick borosilicate glass and are reinforced by a metal frame for additional stability.  Glass is susceptible to breakage, but only if dropped or subjected to misuse. • How do I clean the toaster?  Is it possible to clean the glass walls from the inside? The exterior can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.  A removable tray pulls easily out from the side of the toaster to clean any crumbs.  Should it be necessary to clean the inside of the glass, there are two buttons underneath the toaster that will release the glass walls for cleaning. • Why are the buttons that release the glass walls so hard to reach? The release buttons were designed this way so that the glass walls are not accidentally opened during operation, or while the unit may still be hot. • Can the glass windows be opened while the toaster is being used? There is no need to open the walls during toasting and the user should never need to do so. If accidentally released, a safety interlock switch will automatically shut off the power. • How long is the warranty? 3 years for parts and 1 year for labor.
