How it Works In order to create real-time 3D scene-data, the DS410 emits modulated non-visible infrared (IR) light into a scene and measures the round-trip time it takes for the reflected IR light to return. Unlike other depth-sensing technologies, DepthSense™ ToF is able to calculate depth-sensitivity within millimeters, not just centimeters or inches.
