Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
DTS:X and Dolby Atmos formats liberate sounds from specific speakers, allowing them to move from speaker to speaker, and even overhead. The ELITE FS-EB70 places the audience at the center of a trueto-life 3.1.2-channel sound environment without having in-ceiling or surround speakers.
New Listening Mode “Surround Enhancer”
Surround Enhancer is a listening mode using Dolby’s technology, based on the transmission characteristic of the human sound perception. Since reflections from walls etc. are not used, you can enjoy natural and enveloping sound full of presence, anywhere in your living room.
Wi-Fi and AirPlay
Multi-room Audio Offers a Variety of Ways to Enjoy Music
Enjoy lossless music transmission, while the 5 GHz/2.4 GHz dual Wi-Fi provides smooth playback free of interference.
FireConnect™ mirrors network audio and external analog sources connected to the master component—from streaming services to vinyl records—on FireConnect™-compatible speakers in other rooms. Music selection, speaker grouping, and playback management across the home are built into Pioneer Remote App for iOS and Android.
Stream Music On Demand
The AV center and the Pioneer Remote App support TIDAL, TuneIn, and Pandora*, while the Spotify app lets subscribers stream directly to the soundbar, together offering the broadest selection of ondemand music, internet radio, and much more.
* FireConnect™ is enabled with a firmware update. Sharing of audio from external inputs depends on the model and is enabled with a future firmware update. Sampling rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz are supported. FireConnect is a technology based on Blackfire provided by Blackfire Research Corp., USA.

Supports Next-Generation Ultra HD Video All HDMI inputs are compatible with HDCP 2.2 for 4K/60 Hz pass-through to compatible Ultra HD displays. HDR10 and BT.1010 color-space are also supported.
Introducing DTS Play-Fi*
DTS Play-Fi streams any audio from any app running on any device to the FSEB70 soundbar system, as well as other Wi-Fi-enabled speakers in your home, to create a multi-room system. You can stream different sources to different speakers at the same time from the DTS Play-Fi app. * Play-Fi will be available with future firmware update.
Chromecast built-in
The FS-EB70 comes with Chromecast built-in, so you can use your mobile device to stream your favorite music, radio, or podcasts to the system. You can control the audio from anywhere in the house using Chromecastenabled apps running on your personal device— iPhone, iPad, Android phone and tablet, Mac and Windows laptop, and Chromebook™. Pioneer Remote App* for Smooth Operation From cueing up music to switching listening modes or AV sources, Pioneer Remote App offers integrated control across all zones in your home from anywhere within the wireless range.

One-Cable Soundbar Connection
A universal-type multi-channel audio cable connects the soundbar and the AV center. Since all four HDMI inputs are on the AV center, cables and connected components can be hidden away. This design not only looks neat, but is also much easier to keep clean than conventional soundbars.
MCACC Tailors Sound to Your Listening Environment
Powerful Yet Precise Sound Reproduction
Despite the slim and compact size, the AV center contains a powerful multi-channel amplification system with separate power source and discrete output stages for a dynamic wide-band sound delivery. Two large drivers each for the left, right, and center channels project sound deep and wide across the room. Upward-angled drivers add an overhead dimension to movies and games.
MCACC measures the acoustic characteristics and the response of sound in your listening environment. Phase, reverb, and speaker output are calibrated along with 4-Band EQ for subwoofer with the Phase Control technology to create a highly precise audio image. MCACC also features the new Reflex Optimizer technology to ensure height effects reflected from the ceiling are in phase for clear and realistic object-based audio reproduction.
