TURN CASSETTE HANDLE WITH ONE HAND WHILE HOLDING THE MECHANISM WITH THE OTHER. THE CASSETTE PULL OUT SLIGHTLY, THEN PLACE ONE HAND UNDERNEATH AS YOU SLIDE IT OUT. 2 PLACE CASSETTE ON A LEVEL SURFACE. INSERT KEY INTO THE CASSETTE LOCK AND TURN CLOCKWISE. PRESS GREEN RELEASE BUTTON TO RAISE LID. KEY COUNTERCLOCKWISE TO LOCK CASSETTE. SLIDE CAS- SETTE INTO ITS SLOT IN THE MECHANISM. 3 4 MOVE PUSHER PLATE TOWARDS THE CASSETTE HANDLE. PLATE SHOULD STAY INPLACE. LOAD NOTES USING 1" 2" STACKS OF CURRENCY. 7 REMOVE REJECT CASSETTE FROM MECHANISM. PLACE ON LEVEL SURFACE. INSERT KEY INTO LOCK AND TURN CLOCKWISE. PRESS GREEN RELEASE BUTTON TO RAISE LID. LEVEL 8 REMOVE NOTE PILE BY HAND. MOVE PUSHER PLATE AGAINST THE NOTES WITH ENOUGH PRESSURE TO HOLD ANY REJECTED NOTES - BOTH SINGLE AND BUNDLED AREAS. FOLLOW LOCKING PROCEDURES FROM STEP 6 AND SLIDE CASSETTE BACK INTO MECHANISM. NOTES BEFORE CLOSING. Single Note Reject Area 4 Bundled Note Reject Area REPLENISH CASSETTE(S) - FUJITSU 510 STEP 1 ! M OVE * IMPORTANT * PRESSURE BEFORE INSERTING CASSETTES IN THE FEED CHANNELS, ENSURE THE OPEN/CLOSE TAB (LOCATED IN EACH CHANNEL) IS IN THE “CLOSE” POSITION. THE TAB SHOULD BE IN THE POSITION SHOWN BELOW. IF NOT, BILL FEED ERRORS WILL OCCUR! PLATE AGAINST THE NOTES WITH ENOUGH PRESSURE TO HOLD NOTES BEFORE CLOSING LID. INSERT CAS- SETTE BACK INTO THE MECHANISM. 5 REPLACE PAPER (RECEIPT PRINTER) STEP 1 ACTION STEP ACTION 2 PAPER REMAINS ON ROLL, CUT OPEN UPPER LEFT CABINET DOOR. PULL UP ON THE LOCKING PIN AND IF STEP BETWEEN THE ROLL AND INPUT TO 3 PRINTER. EXTEND PRINTER ASSEMBLY TRAY ACTION PUSH UP ON THE FEED BUTTON (BLUE) REPEATEDLY TO ADVANCE REMAINING PAPER FROM FEED PATH. FULLY. Feed button 4 REMOVE EXISTING PAPER ROLL AND/ OR SPINDLE FROM PAPER SUPPORT 5 BRACKET. PLACE SPINDLE IN NEW PAPER ROLL. CUT OFF ANY PAPER WHERE THERE IS GLUE PRESENT. 6 ALIGN PAPER ROLL (W/SPINDLE) IN PAPER SUPPORT BRACKET SLOTS . ENSURE PAPER FEEDS FROM BOTTOM! 7 PASS END OF PAPER OVER THE TENSION ROLLER AND INSERT INTO THE PRINTER TAKE-UP SLOT. PRINTER WILL AUTOMATICALLY GRAB PAPER. 8 FROM REAR SERVICE PANEL - ENTER MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS > DIAGNOSTICS > PRINTER. SELECT OPTION <3>, RESET. THE PRINTER WILL RESET AND DISPLAY A STATUS REPORT. SELECT . THE REPORT WILL PRINT TO THE RECEIPT PRINTER. PUSH PRINTER TRAY BACK INTO CABINET. FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON INSERTING ENVELOPES (LABEL ON SLIDE TRAY BACK INTO THE CABINET. UNIT), LOAD ENVELOPES (FLAP UP INTO THE SUPPLY BIN). * NOTE * REMEMBER TO ALTERNATE ENVELOPES APPROXIMATELY EVERY 50 WITH FLAPS UP FACING LEFTRIGHT. 3. ACCESS MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS AND FROM THE MAIN MENU SCREEN ENVELOPE DISPENSE AND RETRACT TEST. SELECT DIAGNOSTICS > ENVELOPE DEPOSITORY > THE TEST DISPENSES AN ENVELOPE AND THEN AUTOMATICALLY RETRACTS IT INTO THE DEPOSITORY STORAGE BIN (NORMAL OPERATION). 4. AFTER THE TEST IS COMPLETE, PRESS <2> TO EXIT. 8 REPLACE RIBBON CARTRIDGE (ENVELOPE DEPOSITORY UNIT) THE OPTIONAL DEPOSITORY ACCEPTS AN ENVELOPE, MONITORS ITS PROGRESS THROUGH THE UNIT, STAMPS IT WITH 68 CHARACTERS WITH THE DOT MATRIX PRINTER), AND DEPOSITS THE ENVELOPE IN THE ENVELOPE DEPOSIT BIN. IDENTIFYING DATA (UP TO 1. REMOVE RIBBON CARTRIDGE FROM THE FOUR (4) PLASTIC TABS THAT HOLD IT. 2. MOUNT THE NEW RIBBON CARTRIDGE INTO THE PRINTER HOLDER AS SHOWN BELOW. ENSURE CARTRIDGE ALIGNS WITH THE PLASTIC TABS. 3. CONFIRM THAT THE RIBBON IS POSITIONED BETWEEN THE MASK AND HEAD, THEN TURN THE RIBBON KNOB IN A “CLOCKWISE” DIRECTION UNTIL TAUT. 9 ELECTRONIC LOCK (LaGard) ENTERING THE COMBINATION THE ELECTRONIC LOCK COMBINATION CONSISTS OF SIX (6) DIGITS. IF LOCK IS PROGRAMMED FOR DUAL CODE, EACH CODE WILL CONSIST OF SIX (6) DIGITS. THE PRESET COMBINATION OF THE LOCK SHOULD ALREADY BE SET AT 1-2-3-45-6. AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT HAS BEEN COMPLETED, PERFORM THE FOLLOWING STEPS: * NOTE * FOR DUAL CODE OPERATION, THE SECOND CODE MUST BE ENTERED WITHIN TEN (10) SECONDS AFTER THE FIRST CODE WAS ENTERED. 1. ENTER THE PRESET COMBINATION(S) AND CHECK FOR PROPER OPERATION. AFTER EACH KEYPRESS, THE LOCK WILL BEEP. AFTER THE FINAL DIGIT HAS BEEN ENTERED, THE LOCK WILL BEEP TWICE AND THE OPEN PERIOD WILL BEGIN. 2. WITHIN FOUR (4) SECONDS, TURN THE KEYPAD “CLOCKWISE” TO THE OPEN POSITION. 3. AFTER THE LOCK IS OPENED, THE DOOR MAY BE OPENED. INVALID CODE ENTRY - LOCK WILL BEEP THREE (3) TIMES. CHANGING THE COMBINATION * IMPORTANT * ALWAYS PERFORM THIS OPERATION WITH THE DOOR OPEN! IF YOUR UNIT IS PROGRAMMED FOR DUAL CODE, EACH CODE MUST BE CHANGED INDEPENDENTLY. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH CODE CHANGE. TO CHANGE THE COMBINATION OF THE LOCK, SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS. 1. ENTER SIX (6) ZEROS. 2. ENTER THE CURRENT COMBINATION (INITIALLY SET AT 1-2-3-4-5-6). 3. ENTER THE NEW SIX (6) DIGIT COMBINATION TWICE. - IF A MISTAKE IS MADE, WAIT THIRTY (30) SECONDS AND REPEAT THE FIRST 3 STEPS. 4. TEST LOCK COMBINATION SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE CLOSING THE DOOR. THE COMBINATION IS NOW CHANGED. VALID CODE ENTRY - DOUBLE SIGNAL AFTER VALID SIX (6) DIGIT CODE IS ENTERED. INVALID CODE ENTRY - TRIPLE SIGNAL AND OLD CODE IS STILL VALID. 10 ELECTRONIC LOCK (LaGard) SILENT SIGNAL ALARM (IF FEATURE IS PROGRAMMED AND OPTIONAL ALARM BOX IS CONNECTED TO AN ALARM SYSTEM) - ALWAYS PERFORM THIS OPERATION WITH THE DOOR(S) OPEN! ENTER LAST DIGIT OF CODE ONE (1) NUMBER HIGHER OR ONE (1) NUMBER LOWER. 1. EXAMPLE: CODE: 1-2-3-4-5-6 DURESS: 1-2-3-4-5-5 OR 1-2-3-4-5-7 THE LOCK WILL OPEN WITHOUT ANY INDICATION THAT THE DURESS SIGNAL HAS BEEN SENT. 2. LOCKOUT FEATURE THE LOCK INCLUDES A WRONG TRY PENALTY LOCKOUT FEATURE THAT PREVENTS ENTRY FROM UNAUTHORIZED THIS FEATURE PERFORMS AS FOLLOWS: PERSONNEL. • ENTRY OF FOUR (4) CONSECUTIVE INVALID COMBINATIONS STARTS A 5-MINUTE DELAY PERIOD. - LED FLASHES RED AT TEN (10) SECOND INTERVALS. • AT THE END OF THE DELAY PERIOD, TWO (2) MORE CONSECUTIVE INVALID COMBINATIONS WILL RESTART AN ADDITIONAL 5-MINUTE DELAY. ENTRY WILL NOT RESPOND TO A SINGLE KEYSTROKE DURING DELAY PERIOD. BATTERY LOW WARNING REPEATED BEEPING DURING AN OPENING INDICATES THAT THE BATTERY IS LOW AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY AT LEAST ONCE ANNUALLY. THE BATTERY BOX IS LOCATED ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR. NOTE: IF THE LOCK WILL NOT OPERATE (I.E. REPEATED BEEPING OR NO BEEPING) WHILE THE DOOR IS CLOSED AND LOCKED, THE BATTERY MUST BE ENERGIZED FROM THE TWO EXTERNAL TERMINALS ON THE FRONT OF THE PUSH-BUTTON PANEL. TO ENERGIZE THE LOCK, CONNECT A 9-VOLT ALKALINE BATTERY ON THE EXTERNAL TERMINAL POINTS. MAINTAIN CONTACT, ENTER A VALID COMBINATION, AND TURN THE DIAL CLOCKWISE TO OPEN THE LOCK. NOTE: YOU MUST MAINTAIN BATTERY CONTACT AT ALL TIMES THROUGHOUT THIS PROCEDURE. CHANGING THE BATTERY 1. OPEN THE ATM VAULT DOOR(S). REMOVE THE BATTERY BOX COVER BY PULLING THE FRONT PORTION AWAY FROM THE VAULT DOOR. 2. THE CONNECTOR IS EASILY REMOVED BY UNSNAPPING IT FROM THE TWO (2) TERMINAL ON THE TOP OF THE BATTERY. 3. REMOVE THE OLD BATTERY. INSTALL/CONNECT A NEW 9-VOLT ALKALINE BATTERY. 4. PUSH THE BATTERY AND THE LEADS COMPLETELY UP INTO THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT. 5. REINSTALL THE COVER AND TEST THE UNIT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE CLOSING THE VAULT DOOR. 11 ENVELOPE DEPOSIT BIN THE SECURE ENVELOPE DEPOSIT BIN STORES DEPOSIT TRANSACTIONS. T HE CUSTOMER INSERTS AN ENVELOPE CONTAINING CHECKS OR BILLS ( NOT COINS), THE DEPOSITORY UNIT ACCEPTS THE ENVELOPE, STAMPS IT , AND DEPOSITS IN THE ENVELOPE BIN. RECOMMENDATION THE ENVELOPE DEPOSITORY STAMPS DEPOSITED ENVELOPES WITH IDENTIFYING DATA . THIS DATA IS STAMPED APPROXIMATELY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENVELOPE AS SHOWN IN THE FIGURE AT RIGHT. IF YOUR ENVELOPES HAVE A LOGO / GRAPHIC THAT IS AT OR NEAR THE CENTER , THIS DATA WILL PRINT OVER THIS AND MAY MAKE IDENTIFICATION HARD TO DETERMINE. RECOMMEND EITHER MOVING YOUR LOGO UP TO THE CORNERS OR USE PLAIN ENVELOPES . REMOVE: 1. OPEN LOWER (LEFT) REAR CABINET DOOR. PULL THE BIN OUT SLIGHTLY, THEN PLACE ONE HAND UNDERNEATH AS YOU SLIDE IT OUT FROM THE GUIDE RAILS. 2. INSERT THE KEY AND TURN IT 90° CLOCKWISE. CLOSE THE COVER (HELD BY A MAGNET). TURN THE KEY BACK TO SECURE. MOUNT: 1. INSERT THE KEY AND TURN IT 90° CLOCKWISE. OPEN THE COVER (HELD BY A MAGNET). TURN KEY BACK TO REMOVE. 2. WITH ONE HAND UNDERNEATH BIN, GRASP HANDLE AND SLIDE BACK INTO THE GUIDE RAILS. FORWARD UNTIL IT “CLICKS”. 12 SLIDE THE BIN
