Our intimate restaurant featuring low level lighting, open fire place and heated undercover alfresco area is open daily for lunch and dinner. Our Head Chef has created a menu of delicious and innovative dishes to delight any taste.
The Corner Bar features unique designs by well known Adelaide body artist, Emma Hack. All your favourite beers are on tap with regular daily drink specials. For the sports fans, there is TAB and Fox Sports on four large screen televisions.

The Kensi is the perfect venue for birthdays, engagements, wine appreciation groups, Christmas parties and conferences. We offer a range of flexible menu options to suit your function requirements. The Regent Room provides state-of-the-art audio visual facilities and can cater for up to 60 people seated or up to 100 people standing. The Kings Room, adjacent to the Corner Bar, is perfect for both casual parties and cocktail functions alike.
Our private and fully enclosed Gaming Lounge has a spacious, warm atmosphere with the latest machines, Keno and X-Lotto facilities, plus an under cover smoking area close by if desired. You can also join our free member’s loyalty program to receive great bonuses and invitations to regular member’s parties.
WI N E B A R If you are after a cosy evening in comfortable surroundings, then the Wine Bar is the place for you. The area features booth seating and the choice of over 150 vintage and fine wines including a huge range available by the glass. Perfect for smaller groups not wanting a private room, we can reserve tables for your get together.

REGENT ROOM The Regent Room is the perfect space for a dinner party with friends or a cocktail party with a crowd. Specialising in birthdays, engagements, wine appreciation groups, Christmas parties, and conferences, we offer a range of menus, both for cocktail and sit down events to suit your function requirements. The Regent Room is available for private events and a specially tailored menu can be written to suit your specific needs. This space provides state-ofthe-art audio visual facilities including a large screen television and can cater for up to 60 people seated or up to 100 people for a cocktail event. There is also an adjacent heated undercover alfresco area available for hire to allow extra space for your guests.

KINGS ROOM The Kings Room has a relaxed environment making it ideal for your next birthday. With easy access to our Corner Bar, the room is also perfect for any cocktail function. A private space, it can cater for casual parties and cocktail functions, both large and small groups regularly enjoy this popular space.

The Kensi offers helium balloons in assorted colours for $15 per bunch including five balloons and a table weight. If you would like the room set up in a particular way or would like to bring your own decorations; simply liaise with our Functions Manager prior to the function date. You are more than welcome to decorate either room, however nothing is to be nailed, screwed or adhered to any surface. Only blu-tak may be used. No glitter or confetti of any kind is permitted. Any damage will be the responsibility of the organiser.
Lolly tables are allowed, however no chips, nuts or snacks
Unfortunately we do not host 18th birthday parties for security reasons.

There is a room hire charge for each room. Room hire includes table linen, audio visual equipment and microphone. Additional facilities including projectors are available at an additional charge. Room hire charge is taken as a deposit within ten working days of initial booking to hold space otherwise management otherwise reserves the right to cancel booking and allocate the space to another client.

CAN I B RIN G MY OWN MUSIC? Both rooms have mp3 player connectivity for you to have your own playlist going during your function. Management reserves the right to control all volume levels in any function to preserve the rights of other hotel guests. Bands and dj’s are not permitted in our function rooms. The Kensi is not licensed for live music.

For functions booked Monday to Saturday nights, the drinks tab will be closed off at 11.30PM, with all guests to have vacated both the hotel and car park by 12.00AM (midnight). Sunday functions are to finish up by 8.00PM as per hotel license. Extended hours are negotiable – additional charges may apply.

Room hire charge is taken as a deposit within ten working days of initial booking to hold space. Management otherwise reserves the right to cancel booking and allocate the space to another client.
For exclusive use of The Regent Room during November and December, a minimum of 40 guests is required. Payment of room hire is required within 10 days of making the reservation. Management otherwise reserves the right to cancel bookings.
Please advise us if there is anyone under the age of 18 years attending the function as minors cannot consume alcohol and must be off licensed premises by midnight.

M E N U SE L E C T I O N The Kensi prides itself in providing superior service and cuisine. To ensure a high level of service and quality experience, we require confirmation of your food and beverage selection one week prior to your function. Special dietary requirements, e.g. gluten free, vegetarians, vegans, etc. should also be communicated 7 days prior. All menus’ are subject to season and availability and subject to change without notification.
F I N AL N U MB E R S Anticipated final numbers are requested 7 days prior to the function date. Final numbers are required 2 clear working days prior to your event. This final number will represent the minimum number of guests for which you will be charged. Charges will be based on the final confirmed number or the attendance number - whichever is greater.
CAN CELLATION S The Kensi is happy to refund the deposit if your booking is cancelled within 5 days of paying the deposit. Cancellations after this time will result in a forfeit of the deposit.
IN SURAN CE The Kensi will not take responsibility for any damage or loss of items before, during or after an event, and recommend that you arrange appropriate insurance cover for your belongings.
COMPLIAN CE AN D RESPON SIB ILIT Y Every function must nominate a primary contact person on the day. This person is expected to conduct the function in an orderly manner in full compliance with The Kensi’s Regulations and Liquor Licensing laws. This person will also be responsible for ensuring any breakages or damages are paid for. The Kensi practices responsible service of alcohol, Management reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated persons.
