TALENTED PERFORMER The Ross Furio Robo System is used in top productions world wide to provide compelling visuals. Furio Robo is designed for live television production studio use in which an operator controls multiple cameras with pre-set shot and motion path recalls. The Furio Robo system consists of a Pan-Tilt-Zoom Head (PTZ), Rail Based Dolly System with Telescopic Lift and a sophisticated IP based control system. Furio Robo scales from a simple PTZ head on a fixed tripod to a full multi-camera rail system.
Furio uses a precision straight or curved track to guarantee smooth, repeatable live motion.

VIRTUAL SETS AND AUGMENTED REALITY The Furio system is designed with virtual set and augmented reality production in mind, making it easy to install and operate in these environments. Virtual environments and augmented reality are especially challenging. The Integration and stability of the camera system is a key component in making a great looking and believable production. Furio’s unique, built-in absolute positioning system (APS) provides a reliable and consistent connection between real world camera movement and virtually rendered graphics.

JOYSTICK CONTROL PANEL • Comes with dual 3-Axis high precision joysticks. • Controls up to twelve robotic camera systems. • Integrated focus and zoom controls.
SmartShell USER INTERFACE The SmartShell graphical user interface (GUI) allows the operator to setup pre-programed camera positions (presets) and program complex on-air camera moves. • Adjust speed, damping and limits for each axis. • Create categories to group presets and moves.
MULTI-CAMERA OPERATION Operate up-to 12 robotic camera systems from one control panel. Back-lit switches gives you instantaneous on-air camera status.
ROUTER INTERFACE RS-232/422 and IP interface to industry standard video routers allows the vision monitor to be switched together with robotic control.
USB INTERFACING The Joystick Control Panel connects to the SmartShell User Interface PC by standard USB.

MOVE PROGRAMMING The SmartShell user interface provides an easy and intuitive way to program complex on-air camera moves: 1. Add a move. 2. Drag – already defined – presets into the move. Add key frame timing to each preset. 3. Verify if the Robotics can physically execute the programmed move.

The Furio control system architecture has been designed with a modern network centric approach. Each component of the system is fully IP based and connects via a standard network infrastructure, making installation and set up a breeze.

Also in the Ross Robotics product family is the CamBot Line which consists of the 500, 600 and 700 Series. These systems are robust, durable studio work horses capable of handling large payloads - up to 200 pounds on the 700 Series.
SERIES 700
700XY Roaming Pedestal Precision Leader - The CamBot 700XY is a third-generation robotic pedestal that substantially raises the bar for smoothness and accuracy ensuring consistent productions. Patented drive technology together with optical targeting means the 700XY targets in seconds, navigates studio floors with millimeter precision, ends wheel-scrub floor damage and eliminates the need for periodic sensor and target cleaning. Manual Control - With a flick of a switch, the manual control option allows the system to be controlled from behind the camera. This is great for occasions in which a manually run camera is required or simply for moving the unit for studio cleaning or configuration. Maximum Payload -The 700XY offers an industry leading payload of up to 200 pounds (91 kg). Full sized studio cameras and lenses, large teleprompter, preview monitors, tally indicators and count-down clocks are no problem with the CamBot 700XY.
SERIES 600
600PT(Z) Pan/Tilt/(Elevation) Payload Plus - The 600PT is available for tripod or pedestal mounting. The 600 Elevation column can be added for height control. Its 125 lbs (57 kg) capacity easily carries today’s typical studio configurations with teleprompters and preview monitors. The elevation column adds extremely smooth on-air quality vertical moves to the production at an economical price point.
SERIES 500 520PT Pan/Tilt Head
Smooth Operator - An offset tilt axis greatly reduces the need for awkward counter-weights, while the 520PT’s 70 lbs (35 kg) load capacity easily accommodates large teleprompters. The 520 provides the smoothness, speed, precise control, and on-air move quality you need, and can be mixed and matched with all other CamBot heads and control systems.
