Product Brochure WHEN AUDIO AND VIDEO ARE MISSION CRITICAL FusionACP TM Advanced Connectivity Platform IP/SDI Hybrid Video Distribution System with 100GigE IP Gateways & 12G SDI Solving Today’s Requirements with Tomorrow’s Technology! You’re updating your existing facility or designing a new one and you need to deploy a new video distribution system to support it. Your workflow includes a conglomerate of legacy NTSC, SD/SDI, HD/SDI and most recently 3G/SDI. Not too hard you think. “I’ll find a 3G/SDI routing system that supports NTSC!” But not so fast….everything you read and hear says the future is SMPTE 2110 and 2022-6 for IP networking and 12Gbit/s SDI for uncompressed 4k/60 – not to mention the real possibility of 8k in your facility down the road! Now what? Even if you don’t have a current requirement to manage IP and 12G/SDI you certainly would not want to invest in technology that locks you in to today’s formats! So what do you do? Is there a routing platform that brings all these different formats together into a single routing entity, and yet still provides you with a seamless growth platform? FusionACP 576 x 576 Introducing – FusionACP ! PESA’s totally new hybrid IP/SDI Advanced Connectivity Platform that supports SMPTE 2110, SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE 2022-7 and single port, uncompressed 4K/60 with 12Gbit/S SDI! With FusionACP, PESA provides you the solution for an effective migration strategy to manage your SDI infrastructure today, but with the ability of integrating IP and 12G SDI resources in the future! Control rooms, command centers - All users can now initiate the migration to IP video without compromising the need of supporting the current SDI workflow! FusionACP - a platform that allows you to manage all your sources: NTSC * SD-SDI * HD-SDI * 3G-SDI (1080) * 12G-SDI (4K) * SMPTE 2022-6/7 * SMPTE 2110 * AES67 …and more to come as this dynamic platform evolves! Built For Today - Designed For Tomorrow! Designed around a high speed core, the FusionACP’s 100G IP-gateway and 12Gbit/S SDI interfaces provide dynamic connectivity and management for all major signal formats. Designed for redundancy and easy upgrade, FusionACP features easy-access, front-loading of all major components, including input, output, matrix & control cards. Connectivity to the frame is provided by single-channel blades available with HDBNC connectors for coax, and SFP cages for IP, fiber and coax connections. FusionACP’s SDI I/O cards each offer 16 channels of input and output with auto-reclocking that conforms to SMPTE 259, 292, 372, 424 and 2082. FusionACP also supports DVB-ASI (270 Mbps) and MADI (125 Mbps) digital audio. WHEN AUDIO AND VIDEO ARE MISSION CRITICAL PESA 103 Quality Circle, Suite 210, Huntsville. Designed to the SMPTE2110 standard, the gateway card provides for IP/SDI, SDI/IP and IP/IP signal routing. The FusionACP provides you with 16 bidirectional SDI to/from IP conversions on a single card as well as a conversion-bypass which allows you to route IP to IP! FusionACP’s IP Gateway (IPG) connectivity blade provides a pair of quad SFP (QSFP) modules allowing a dual link (primary and redundant) interface for connecting the router to a high-speed 100Gbit/S Ethernet network. The FusionACP IP Gateway will support video over IP conforming to SMPTE 2110. FusionACP is also redundant-network compatible providing performance reliability for mission-critical applications! Utilizing SMPTE 2022-7 redundant transmission links prevents single point network failures from disrupting video flow. Initially available in two frame sizes, 9RU and 18RU, FusionACP can be populated to 288x288 and 576x576, respectively. Dynamic expansion beyond these configurations is easily achieved by FusionACP’s ability to function as a Node on a distributed network. Connecting multiple nodes together via COTS IP switches (25G/40G/100G) allows you to expand your I/O capacity AND connect disparate routing systems wherever they may be physically located. This architecture allows for flexible and affordable scaling from small to very large environments without discarding existing Fusion nodes. IP Gateway for Video over IP Routing FusionACP interfaces with external high-speed network switches or other compatible devices through its IP Gateway blade. Each blade supports up to 16 video input sources and up to 16 video output destinations from IP video nodes or devices, at data rates up to 12Gbit/S through the IP network. FusionACP’s IPG blades are compatible with commercially available IP switches and standard Ethernet infrastructures, and accept protocols for both Multicast and Unicast IP routing. Featuring full redundant network capability, each FusionACP IPG blade is fully compatible with the SMPTE 2022-7 protocol for dual transmission links. This dual link protocol provides built-in link redundancy to prevent single point network failures from disrupting video flow. All IP video outputs from the FusionACP comply with video, audio and metadata encapsulation formats defined by SMPTE 2110. High-speed network interface is made through a pair of QSFP connectors (1 each, primary port and redundant port) on each IPG blade. FusionACP directly supports 100G and 40G network ports. Breakout cables are available for interfacing an IPG blade to 25G network ports through 4 SFP connectors, or to a 50G network through 2 SFP connectors. If using a 40G network, a breakout cable may also be used to interface an IPG blade to four 10G network ports. Each blade mates to a single, front- accessible I/O circuit card which contains active circuitry for the signal paths it supports. The photo illustrates the FusionACP rear panel with a variety of HDBNC and SFP Carrier blades, with various SFP modules installed. The HDBNC I/O blade, for coaxial cable only, utilizes 16 individual connectors for inputs and 16 for outputs. Each channel provides AutoEQ and integrated Reclockers for each input, plus individual multi-rate output cable drivers for each output. The SFP I/O blade supports 8 dual SFP input cages for a total of 16 input channels and 8 dual SFP output cages for a total of 16 output channels, utilizing any of a wide variety of available SFP modules. All SFPs can be hot-swapped at any time.
