Waste, which may be delivered to our local recycling station includes:

Waste, which is not accepted at our local recycling station:
Construction waste, such as kitchen elements, toilets, tiles, etc. Porcelain / glass Glass bottles Car batteries and car tires
The container for garden waste is only for vegetable waste. No flowerpots, plastic bags, nor stones. Small combustible waste must be deposited in the closed container. Other waste must be sorted and left in the compartments according to the signs. Help keeping our recycling station nice.
Gentofte Community's Recycle Station Waste, which is not accepted at our local waste station, can be delivered to Gentofte Kommunes Genbrugsstation Ørnegårdsvej 15 2820 Gentofte.

Garbage
Paper, and cardboard
Glass and batteries
Garbage from households must be deposited in the underground containers placed at the distribution roads. Garbage must be packed in closed plastic bags.
Clean papers and printed matters must be deposited in the grey paper containers.
Bottles and other glass containers must be deposited in the community's containers at Netto and at similar locations. A container for batteries can be found at Netto, too.
This also applies to: Pizza cartons, plastic bottles and wrappings, napkins, milk-, juice-, wine-cartons, etc. Glass, sharp items, hot or wet items, or the like must not be thrown into the containers.

Clean cardboard waste must be deposited in the grey containers marked Pap close to the wastepaper containers.
The basements Due the risk of fire, you are not allowed to place waste or combustibles in the open parts of the basements.
Local recycling station Nordre Munkegaard has a fenced recycling station at Dalstrøget 114 – 124. Use your basement key to access the recycling station. At our recycling station you may borrow a pushcart for transport of larger waste items. Please return the cart after use.
