Optoway GBB-7400G 1 *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************** GBB-7400G (RoHS Compliant) 1310 nm TX / 1550 nm RX , 5V / 1.25 Gbps Multi-Mode WDM Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************** FEATURES DESCRIPTION l l l l The GBB-7400G series 1-fiber multi-mode optical transceivers meet the Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) specification Rev. 5.5. It satisfies the optical interface specifications defined in IEEE 802.3ah 1000BASE BX by using 1310 nm transmitter and 1550 nm receiver. The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated 1550 nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL input / output logic interface is used. TTL RX-LOS output simplifies interface to external circuitry. For this definition, upon power up, MOD-DEF(1:2) appear as no connector (NC) and MOD-DEF(0) is TTL LOW. When the host system detects this condition, it activates the serial protocol.
