Should further information be desired or should particular problem arise which are not covered sufficiently for the purchaser’s purpose, the matter should be referred to General Electric Company.
I.
GENERAL
This luminaire is designed for outdoor lighting or the application under good ventilations, should not be used in areas of limited ventilations, or in high ambient temperature enclosures. Best results will be obtained if installed and maintained according to the following recommendations. Please refer section III for the application limitation details. The Manufacturer has made every effort during the design and construction stages to make its products completely free of risks when correctly used. Note however that accident prevention and safety regulations stipulate that the users of the product is obliged to ensure that all persons involved in servicing, installing, handling, using or selling the products are familiar with the information supplied by the Manufacturer and fully aware of any precautions that must be adopted. Depending on the circumstances, the instructions in this document must be communicated, together with any other information that may be necessary, to any Company or person involved in the installation of GE lighting products.
II.
UNPACKING
The luminaire has been properly packed to avoid damage during transit; fitting and gearbox are packing separately. Inspect the luminaries to confirm there is no damage. Do not install a damaged luminaire or damaged luminaire components. The carton consists of: • • •

WARNING CAUTION FOR ELECTRIC SHOCK/RISK OF BURN/PROPER INSTALLATION Non-professionals are not allowed to operate. Shut off the power before maintenance. Risk of burn, allow lamps/fixture to cool down before handling. Risk of falling under incorrect installation. The luminaire shall only be used complete with its protective shield.

III. APPLICATION NOTICE GE CMH FLOOD is a luminaire used for flooding
Ensure this manual is provided to the installers and users; Don’t touch the lens and lamp before cool down; Ensure the circuit was protected by a suitable safety device; Use qualified cable (Per 60245 IEC57, IEC57, 3×1mm²) for power supplier. Class luminaries, need grounding; Ensure the fixture to be supplied by the right power input rating as the product label marked; Fixture can be restarted only after the cool down.
All the bolts should be applied with anti-loose management. Please tighten the gland and ensure the torsion no less than 2 N.m to avoid leakage.
Risk of Injury Ware safety glasses and proper aid during installation and maintenance. For user who purchase empty housing from GE This empty housing may not be suitable for all kinds of control gear. Independent test may required to conduct to ensure the quality and performance of finished fixture, as it may vary subject to the type of control gear, assembling method and other issue as the case may be.

Tighten the terminal screws, fasten clip and gland, close the front cover and lock the latch. Fix the gearbox near the fitting (within 1m) by 4 M8 bolts (Not provided with product), dimension as Figure 4 shown:
TOOLS/ACCESSRIES YOU WILL NEED Allen wrench–(6mm): Used for fixture mounting and adjustment; Wire Stripper: Used for removal the insulation of wire lead; Screw driver–(3mm): Used for wire connection.

(Figure 4) Open the gearbox, loose the gland, pull in the cable(which connect fitting on the other end) through gland and cable clip, and connect with terminal as Figure 5 shown;
Mounting Use 5pcs M5 bolts (Not provided with product) to fasten fitting with tighten mounting surface with proper anti-loose solution. Bracket dimension as Figure 2:

(Figure 5) Fasten the cable clip and gland, close the gearbox by screw the bolts on the gearbox cover.
V. MAINTENANCE/ LAMP REPLACEMENT 2.

(Figure 2) Open the plastic cap, Loosen the bolts on both side and adjust fixture angle per requirement, then fasten the bolts, close the cap; Open the back cover, install the recommended lamp; Loosen the gland, insert cable through gland and clip, then connect with terminal block as shown in Figure 3; 3

CAUTION
Cleaning Acrylic Lens: use soapy water with 1% concentration and cotton cloth.
In order to maintain high efficiency of reflectors and refractors, a regular cleaning cycle should be established with frequency dependent on local conditions. Use a mild soap or detergent which is essentially neutral (pH approximately 6 to 8), nonabrasive, and which contains no chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons. Wash thoroughly, using a soft cloth, or brush if necessary, Rinse in clean, cold water and wipe dry. INSPECT AND REPLACE ANY DAMAGED REFRACTORS OR GASKET IF APPLICABLE.

VI. PRODUCT INFORMATION PRODUCT BASIC INFO
CAUTION
Shut off the power before lamp replacement.
Light output is also dependent on age of lamp. In applications where light levels are critical, it may be desirable to replace lamps before burn out. Lamp manufacturer can provide data showing how lamp light output decrease with use.

Replacement Steps Step 1 Shut off power first; Step 2 Open the back cover; Step 3 Remove the old lamp from G12 lamp base; Step 4 Insert new lamp into G12 lamp base; Step 5 Close the back cover, lock the latch.

PRODUCT DIMENTIONS AND OUTLINES
CAUTION
Use the lamp with the same rating as the indication of product label. Replace lamp when it is reaching the life end, to avoid system damage.
If lamp is handled, fingerprint, grease or oils should be removed from lamp with isopropyl alcohol. This will remove material that will cause whitish spotting, and premature lamp failure. Dry lamp carefully with cotton or clean cloth.
