Introducing the new AIW26B active in-wall loudspeaker system designed for state-of-the-art audio installations. The AIW26B elegant appearance compliments its outstanding performance and precision in faithful audio reproduction while fitting into a standard 2 in x 4 in wall system. Installers and customers demand performance and aesthetic neutrality. The AIW26B new grille design blends smoothly into any installation such as home theaters, restaurants, art galleries, or board rooms. The grille can be easily painted to match any interior design. The AIW26B is designed for either new or retro-fit installations.
The solid, carefully dimensioned enclosure features a 6.5 in woofer and a ¾ in tweeter mounted in Genelec’s proprietary Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) matched to a fully active remote bi-amplified module, RAM1. Following Genelec’s professional active philosophy, the AIW26B performance means superior high output and dynamics, low distortion, frequency linearity, and years of exceptional, reliable service.

The mounting brackets of the AIW26B need a clearance inside the wall of at least 125 millimeters (5 in) above the top edge of the cut-out and 65 mm (2 9/16 in) below the lower edge. Depth = Free space requirement inside the wall cavity.
