General Product Description – Digital Order Confirmation Display Radiant Model P704F000 The color Digital Video Order Confirmation Display (dvOCD) provides the ability for customers to view their orders as they are entered into the Point-of-Sale, resulting in increased order accuracy. Additionally, the Order Confirmation Display can be used as an advertising medium, allowing clients to display specials and promotions to the customer at the time of purchase. Full motion video can attract customers and display promotions. Feature of the Order Confirmation Display include a high bright, wide viewing angle, and long life LCD panel. The device is powered by the direct digital video interface from the POS terminal, which provides a cost effective, high value solution. The solid-state, dedicated design results in high reliability and excellent supportability. DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface. DVI is a multi-pin connection used for carrying , highspeed, high-definition video signals. The OCD uses a DVI-D, digital only connector, found in most home video gear. It connects to most POS terminals using the DVI-I port which supports both digital and analog [RGB].

Installation Notes Power and Cabling: Requires one DVI-D cable connected between Order Confirmation Display and host terminal. The Radiant Systems POS terminal provides the necessary power to operate the OCD. Moisture: The OCD is water-resistant. It can easily withstand water over spray and exposure to mild cleaning agents without sustaining damage. The OCD should not be sprayed directly, however, as the force of pressurized water could potentially compromise the seals around the touch screen, and/or invade the enclosure through the speaker grille or cooling vents. Accordingly, OCD units should not be installed in areas where they might be exposed to direct water spray. OCD units are not meant for outdoor installation. Footprint: Tilt Stand Mount: By mounting the OCD to the tilt stand of the POS terminal, no additional footprint space is needed. Therefore, the footprint for this configuration will be an area of no less than 8.5 inches square. This will accommodate the unit as well as its associated mounting hardware and customer display. Pole Mount: An area of no less than 4 inches square is necessary to properly install an OCD. This will accommodate the unit as well as its associated mounting hardware and customer display.
