Both systems offer 600 x 600 dpi resolution, 256 levels of gray and a trio of imaging modes – Text, Photo and Text/ Photo – for superior results regardless of the original. Equipped with up to 68 MB of digital copier memory, the 3222/3227 scans your originals just one time, returns them to
you and then produces your job – eliminating idle, waiting time. It will even rotate the image to fit the letter-size paper you have loaded and electronically sort completed document sets. Make information work for you with a variety of digitally enabled features like Directional Magnification, Positive/Negative, Combine Originals and User Stamps. At 22 and 27 pages per minute, the Gestetner 3222/3227 keeps pace with busy workgroups and offices. Of course, there’s more to productivity than print speed and the 3222/3227 excels at maximizing your productivity by minimizing your involvement in routine tasks.
A smartly engineered short paper path enables a productive 4.9 second first print speed and allows the 3222/3227 to accommodate a variety of paper types – from envelopes to 11" x 17". For big jobs, the 3222/ 3227 can accommodate up to 3,100 sheets of paper from four sources – significantly reducing paper replenishment tasks.
With the 3222/3227’s stackless duplex option, you’ll gain virtually unlimited duplex capabilities and effectively reduce paper consumption by half – a tangible advantage in paperintensive environments. The 3222/3227 automatically delivers collated, stapled sets when you add the optional 1,000 sheet Finisher – eliminating a time-consuming and labor-intensive chore. Super G3, Multi-line Fax You can look – but you won’t find – a more powerful communications solution than the 3222/3227’s Super G3 fax option.
A standard 33.6 Kbps ITU V.34 Fax Modem and optional JBIG Compression combine to provide high-quality images at transmission speeds of up to 3 seconds per page. Need more fax power? Then add an additional 33.6 Kbps modem and the Gestetner ISDN Digital Fax option for true fax multitasking. Each line operates independently and two lines are always available so that you can take advantage of simultaneous transmission and reception – it’s like two fax systems in one. With the Gestetner ISDN Digital Fax option, you’ll boost transmission performance to an awesome 1.5 seconds per page; and you’ll gain a host of digital fax capabilities such as 99% error free communications, consistent transmission speeds and secure communications. Fax From The Desktop Save time by sending faxes from, and receiving faxes to, a dedicated PC. With the Gestetner 3222/3227’s PC-Fax option it’s not necessary to print your documents first, then go to the fax to send them. Plus, receiving faxes to your PC eliminates the need to go pick them up and ensures privacy. 22 or 27 PPM Network Printer The Gestetner 3222/3227 does additional duty as your network printer when you add the optional Print Controller and Network Interface Board.

Proprietary Net Vision Software makes network installation and status monitoring of your 3222/ 3227 – or any Gestetner connected system – an effortless task. Comprehensive bi-directional communication allows clients to monitor the status of the system, troubleshoot problems and check on supplies right from the desktop. Administrators will find it convenient to install and monitor the 3222/3227 both locally and, via an embedded Web server, remotely.
A powerful 167 MHz RISC processor combines with up to 80 MB of RAM to swiftly process even the most complex print jobs. An optional 1.6 GB Hard Disk Drive enables multiple original set printing, font storage and proof printing. High Resolution Network Scanning Manage your paper-based originals more efficiently with the Gestetner 3222/3227 network scan option. Scanning is as easy as making a copy when you can make all scan selections and select scanning destinations from the 3222/3227’s Control Panel.
