The aim of the game is to get down to 0. The game is played with a partner. 1. Each player has a game board with the same numbers on. There are two versions of the game board here for differentiation but these can be adapted to suit the children in your class, for example to only use numbers between 6 and 20. 2. Player one rolls their die onto the board. (If it rolls off the board they have another try). 3. Player one must then subtract the number shown on the die from the number in the box the die has landed in on the board. This is their score for the first round. 4. Player one subtracts their score for the round from 100. They keep a record of their answer on the scoresheet as they will need to subtract their score for the next round from this number. 5. Player two now takes their turn and children continue taking it in turns to roll a die and subtract their scores each time until someone gets to 0. Once they do, they are the winner. © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2016 22070 Page 4 of 4
