The Editor allows you to cut out video and audio segments as well as add, delete, and re-order “slides”. (Slides are the screen captures created using the Mediasite Slideshow + Video and Slideshow + Audio recording options.) Editing Requirements: TIP: In order to edit videos in mediasite, you will need to run Silverlight along with a compatible internet browser (Internet Explorer and Firefox are recommended). If you don’t have Silver light installed, you will be prompted to do so when accessing mediasite’s editing options. Check if your internet browser can support Silverlight at: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/locale/en-us/html/installation-win-SL5.html Launching the Editor: 1. Log in to My Mediasite and click a presentation’s title. 2. Click Edit Video or Edit Slides depending on which material you want to edit. The appropriate Editor will open in a separate browser window. 3. The Editor will open in a separate browser window with a project based on the presentation loaded. With two video preview windows, you can select which video source is displayed in each of the windows and navigate the presentation to the points where you would like to make your changes using the playback controls, slide controls, or project timeline.
