Beurer presents new babycare range Ulm/Berlin, 5th September 2014 – Ulm-based company Beurer is set to present its unique babycare range at the upcoming IFA in Berlin.

covering the areas of safety, clinical thermometers, nutrition and weight can be seen on their stand (205) in Hall 4.1. A new baby monitor, clinical thermometer, baby food warmer and steam steriliser as well as a practical baby scale have now been added to the existing Beurer product range. But, it's not just youngsters who will benefit from these new Beurer products. The new Beurer video cameras are also ideal for monitoring vulnerable older people or for room monitoring. Safety – Video baby monitor and related products The new Baby Care Monitor BY 88 Smart - a high quality WiFi video camera that can be used with your own smartphone, tablet or PC provides for additional safety and peace of mind. The device allows you to monitor babies, rooms, pets or vulnerable older people on your own end device, so you can see what's going on at any time - whether you're at home or on the go. Simultaneous access via several devices is possible. The quality of the images produced by the HD video camera is very high - even when the room is dark, the automatic infrared night vision function enables you to see clearly. The camera controls, digital zoom and intercom function plus volume and sensitivity adjustment are all controlled on the end device, as well as a special feature to play five lullabies. The BY 88 also has a sound, motion and temperature alarm for more reliable monitoring. The wallmounting fixture ensures the video camera can be installed in the ideal position. All the user needs to operate the system is their own end device, a WLAN connection through their home router and the free downloadable version of the Beurer CareCam app from Hubble. However, for those who prefer a video baby monitor with parent unit, Beurer offers the new BY 77 video baby monitor. The monitor specifically features ECO+mode for low-emission and energy efficient transmission and has a range of up to 300 m. Range control is via an acoustic signal. the infrared night vision function. The parent unit has a 1.8 LCD colour display, which automatically dims when the room is quiet. The temperature can be displayed, the volume set and the zoom function operated on the parent unit, which also includes an option to play five lullabies. The colour LED display provides a visual indication of the sound level for the user, while the range control and the battery replacement alarm are in the form of an acoustic signal. The handy wall-mounting fixture ensures the video camera can be perfectly integrated into any room. The BY 33 digital baby monitor represents a further product also available in the new Beurer baby monitor series. Data transfer takes place using the low-emission and energy efficient transmission ECO+mode. Even when operated using the battery the parent unit with acoustic range control detects sounds from a distance of up to 300 m. The colour LED display also provides a visual indication of the sound level for the user. The analogue BY 84 baby monitor also features the low-emission and energy efficient ECO+mode, and gives feedback on the baby's emotions: the facial expression of a sleeping, awake or crying baby is shown on the 26 x 16 mm blue back-lit LCD display. When the baby is quiet, the LCD automatically dims. The sound level is optically monitored and the volume and sensitivity levels are continuously adjustable. The BY 84 has a range of 800 m; range control with acoustic and optical signals is integrated. The parent can choose from 16 pilot tones to help calm the child. Clinical thermometers – Pacifier thermometer and related products The BY 20 pacifier thermometer feels soft in the mouth and is ideal for taking the temperature of babies and small children. This medical product does not contain any mercury, is easy to disinfect and is waterproof. The temperature is displayed in °C. Once the child's temperature has been taken an acoustic signal sounds. A protective cap is supplied for when the thermometer is not in use. The BY 11 express thermometer is suitable for older children and features fun animal figures in the form of a dog, frog or monkey. The special flexible measuring tip makes the product very easy to use. It takes around 10 seconds to take the child's temperature, following which an
acoustic signal will sound and the results will be displayed in °C. If the temperature exceeds 37.8 °C, an alarm will sound. The BY 11 has a waterproof tip and display, is easy to disinfect and does not contain any mercury. This medical product automatically switches off when not in use. A protective cover is provided for safe and hygienic storage. Nutrition – Baby food warmer and related products Products such as the BY 52 baby food and bottle warmer play a part in children's healthy development. Food is heated gently and evenly so that none of the valuable vitamins that benefits a baby's health are lost. The desired temperature is shown on the LED display and by an indicator lamp. The product can also be used to keep bottles warm. It is suitable for use with all commercially available bottles and jars.
The accessories are
dishwasher-safe. The BY 76 steam steriliser allows you to sterilise bottles once they have been used. This process removes all harmful household bacteria. The machine can sterilise up to six bottles and accessories in the space of just seven minutes. The remaining sterilisation time is shown on a LED display. Bottles will remain sterile for three hours after sterilisation when the lid is left unopened. No chemical additives are required. The tongs and removable bottle grid are used to remove bottles. A measuring jug is also supplied with guideline amounts for topping up the steriliser with water. All accessories are dishwasher-safe.
Weight – Baby scale The ergonomic, convex weighing surface of the BY 80 baby scale makes it easy to weigh even a struggling baby. The automatic and manual hold function effectively record weight – even if the baby will not lie still. The non-slip rubber feet help to ensure a reliable weight reading. The button-on switching technology, the large LCD display and the easy to clean surface mean the product couldn't be easier to operate. The maximum weight capacity is 20 kg and is displayed in 5 g increments. The baby scale automatically switches off when not in use.
