Our task was to create a Tripod of the highest technical standards, while keeping our customers’ needs as our goal. The result was a Tripod of unsurpassed quality and durability capable of rough treatment, even abuse. The Gibraltar Series has been designed for high quality instrumentation support (RF-Communication, Electro-Optic, Laser, etc.) The gear drive and strength of construction are more than a top-technical achievement. It also provides a creative foundation which, in combination with a variety of heavy duty instrument heads, delivers the utmost in performance.

The Gibraltar, the ultimate performer, offers unmatched torsional stability and carries loads from 200 lb. (90.7 kg) to 400 lb. (181.8 kg). The rack and pinion driven center column (on selected models) provides for easy height adjustment of 18” (45.7 cm). The extra thick wall, tubular and/or cast aluminum construction, provides years of excellent performance. The Gibraltar has the provision to be spiked and the use of guywires.

Functional, durable and fully reliable - these are the common denominators for the basic demands made on an Industrial and Military Support System. At the same time, conditions for use have become more demanding over the years. Heavier and more accurate instrumentations, the use in hostile conditions and the lack of time for proper maintenance are only some of the reasons for our designs. The fact that QuickSet developed heavy duty, reliable Tripods and Heads at a very early stage is now receiving acknowledgment in a very impressive way.
