Ginko Outdoor Positive ID Security Weather Resistant Kiosk Units Use Telpar Printers Rental Site Kiosk Application Ginko has been an innovator in the use of kiosks for many different applications. The Model G5400 and G5500 are outdoor/weather resistant Positive ID Security kiosk units. Utilizing the INSOMNIAC Operating environment, the Ginko kiosks are used extensively throughout the US, Europe and Canada in the Self-Service Storage applications. The Ginko Systems kiosk and the INSOMNIAC software, allow customers secure access to: Rental Site availability, rent a storage unit, update their account information, pay rental fees, with credit card, cash or check, they may also buy tenant insurance. Rental prospects can view an extensive set of videos, detailing site and unit availability, rental contracts, and other applicable information helping them complete their rental or other transactions, without rental unit operator assistance. Telpar 8.5 Printer Provides Users Receipts and Site Information Print Outs Contract, receipts and site information are printed on a Telpar 8.5 inch width thermal printer, allowing customers to carry away easily read and informative information sheets. To meet the needs of various applications, the Telpar printer accommodates up to an 8 ½ “ Wide X 8” diameter roll of continuous paper that allows up to 1100 (8 1/2" X 11" (216 Mm X 79.4 Mm)) Sheets Per Roll at 300 dpi resolution and print speeds of 2 inches per second. The MTP-2283i series, has the Telpar patented looping presenter, with document retract or eject, automatically retracting the document back into the enclosure if it is not taken, helping guard
Uses The 8 ½ inch Telpar MTP 2283i Thermal Printer circulation of client sensitive information and a straight paper path with flip-up print head access for performing machine service. The printer is built with metal frame for increased rigidity and durability in high use applications. The metal frame also provides better electrostatic discharge resistance than plastic. Other printer features include a flip-up print head access design, easy-load paper system to facilitate paper roll replacement. Several sensors provide paper low, out of paper, top of form, document in presenter, print head up, dropped document and cutter jam. High Capacity Merchandise Dispenser With the option high capacity merchandise dispenser, customers may also purchase secure storage door locks and other relevant supplies at this kiosk station.
