Global RJ45 Patch Panels
The Global 6 Category 6 range of patch panels offer exceptional Category 6 performance within a high density format. Each patch panel is a modular unit, presenting 24 ports per 1U, with the 6 PCBs each offering 4 RJ45 ports. Importantly, a unique 4 or 8 way interchangeable fibre snap-in unit is also available for use with this product. This enables the panel to present a mixed media of fibre and copper together within the same chassis. Produced in the HellermannTyton UK production facility under exacting ISO9000-2000 quality standards, the Global system offers the end-user the perfect combination of Price, performance and Quality.

Technical Description Each row of 24 ports occupies 1U rack space and 2U or 4U units are also available. Optional rear cable management enables cables to be affixed using either the HellermannTyton clipin cable clamp or a standard cable tie. This product also provides cable tie loops located at each end, for situations where the cables are presented to the panel without the use of rear cable management bars. Each PCB can be removed (with suitable tooling) and either replaced for maintenance purposes or interchanged with a coaxial option
or one of two fibre options; both the 4 way and 8 way fibre modules include cable management and strain relief. To arrive at the optimum performance levels for this product it is advisable to use inter panel cable guides for patch cable management and strain relief. Port identification is by way of push-in, transparent plastic label lenses, available 6 x 4 way, which are supported by HellermannTyton’s Alpha Label software package.
