GETTING STARTED Get Started Connect your USB device to your Chromebook. If this is the first time you are connecting, wait for the installation process to complete. CONFIGURING CHROMEBOOK TO ALWAYS ROUTE CALL AUDIO TO THE HEADSET 1. Click on the bottom right corner of the Chromebook. 2. You will see the speaker with the volume slider and a USB device. 3. Click on the USB device. 4. Select the Plantronics device for ‘Output’ and ‘Input’ options. 5. The settings will be saved automatically. 4 2 3 1 5 QUICK SETUP GUIDE (CONT.) HOW TO MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS ON HANGOUTS 1. To call an existing contact, select the contact you would like to call and click on the video camera icon below their name. 2. You can also enter a phone number manually using the search box located near the top of the Google Hangouts screen. When a call is placed, a call window will open, and the audio will be routed to your headset. 1 2 TO RECEIVE A CALL 3. When you receive a call, a notification window will appear in the lower right corner of your computer screen. 4.
