HOW TO OPERATE THE CAMERA RECORDING (CAMERA MODE): 1. Turn the camera on by pressing POWER on the top of the camera. 2. Flip open the LCD Screen (if not already open). 3. Using the camera REMOTE CONTROL provided: Press START/STOP on the remote to start recording. Press START/STOP again to stop recording. PLAYBACK (VCR MODE): 1. Hold down the toggle switch on the camera remote for 2 seconds
2. The scenes you recorded will appear on the LCD screen 3. To play a clip, select it using the arrow keys then press SET 4. To hear playback, click MUTE on TV Remote. Important: Avoid feedback! HOW TO TRANSFER VIDEO FILES TO YOUR LAPTOP 1. Put the camera into VCR Mode. 2. Attach the in-house USB cable to your laptop 3. On the camera touch screen, touch “ALL Cards (PC Users)” 4. On your laptop, choose a destination folder for your video files. Next: For Mac users, open iMovie, select File >> Import from Camera. A window will open with recorded clips, select the clips to import and click “Import”. For PC users, a window should automatically open to show that the camera is connected and ask if you want to import files. Say “yes” and the folder containing the video files should open. If it does not… Continue by clicking on this folder path: PRIVATE→AVCHD →BDMV→ STREAM ...your video clips will be listed there in [filename].mts format. •
Highlight the clips you want to transfer.

Right click on the highlighted clips and choose COPY. Next, right click on the destination folder you chose in Step 4 and choose PASTE to start transferring/copying the selected video files to your laptop.
