The GPI-115 PoE injector makes installing FortiAP access points easy and economical. It allows you to place the FortiAP access point at its optimal location by eliminating the need for an AC power outlet in a ceiling or wall. The GPI-115 injects 48V DC power directly into the same GE cable that carries the Ethernet traffic, avoiding installation of additional cabling. With the GPI-115, you have the freedom to deploy Fortinet’s secure wireless solution anywhere in your facility. It allows you to take advantage of the wireless controller feature in every FortiGate® consolidated security platform. Its plug-and-play capabilities enable rapid deployment of your wireless infrastructure, accelerating the deployment of secure wireless access.
