1 Your Samsung Acclaim can help you find your way around with satellite navigation. To use this feature, start at the Home screen and slide over to the right panel.
2 Tap on the “Location & Security Settings” icon to turn on the GPS functionality in the phone.

3 On the screen that appears, tap on Use GPS satellites.
The first time you use this function, you’ll have to agree to the LBS License agreement. Scroll through the textand then tap Agree to continue. You will return to the settings menu.
5 Press the Home button at the bottom of your phone to go back to the panel you were on…

7 …and then slide over to the left panel. Now tap Your Navigator Deluxe to launch the application.
9 8 The first time you use this app, you’ll have to agree to some terms and conditions. Tap Accept to continue.
Also, the first time you use Your Navigator Deluxe, it will ask for some personal information. Tap the First Name input box and use the keyboard to enter your name.
10 Then put in your last name. It also asks for your email address, but that’s optional. When you’re done, tap Continue.
11 This app offers you an opportunity to see a tour of its features, but we’ll skip that for now.

After reading this notice, tap Go to start using the Navigator.

14 You have the choice of typing or speaking your destination. We’ll go with Speak It.
The app will ask you if you are looking for a matching destination that is close to your current location or close to somewhere else. We’ll tap Current Location.
17 16 Useful tips will pop up with suggestions for using the app. Tapping Close will only close that tip. To stop tips altogether, tap No More Tips.
A voice will prompt you through the search process. Touch and hold the button and wait for the beep. Then say ‘Starbucks’.
18 A voice will ask you to confirm ‘Starbucks’. Since that is correct, we’ll tap Go.
19 Now just scroll through the list of destinations and choose one by tapping it.

22 21 Pressing the Menu button on the bottom left of the phone gives you access to other parts of the app.
Tapping Home will take you back to the Navigator’s home screen where you can search for another destination.

As before, we’ll start by tapping Search.
This time, let’s choose Type It.

Start by tapping in the What input box.
Type in our destination and then tap the Done key.
