Shoe must be fully enclosed. No open toed shoes. Long and loose hair must be tied back. Rings and jewelry (long necklaces / bracelets, etc.) must not be worn. Safety glasses or goggles must be worn at all times in work areas. Close fitting/protective clothing must be worn. Remove strings hanging from pullovers/sweaters. Turn the timer on by switching the ON/OFF switch to the ON position (#9). Set the display intensity level using the display intensity control (#7). Set the time range using the time range control (#2). Set the time using the time entry control dials (#3). Select the Audio to OFF, METRO or TONE (#4). Set the outlet control to TIME (#6). Press the START/RESET bar. Pushing this bar during a cycle stops the timer and automatically resets it to the originally set time. MODEL 450 SINGLE –CYCLE SWITCHING OPERATION PROCEDURE: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Plug the control device into the timer AC outlet. Set the display intensity level using the display intensity controls (#7). Set the time range using the time range control (#2). Set the time using the time entry control dials (#3). Select the Audio to OFF, METRO or TONE (#4). Set the outlet control to TIME (#6). Press the START/RESET bar. To adjust the controlled device prior to the timing operation: a) Set the outlet control to “FOCUS”. b)Make adjustments and then reset the outlet control to “TIME” (#6). If an emergency situation occurs while conducting this task or there is an equipment malfunction, shut the equipment off immediately. REPORT ANY HAZARDOUS SITUATIONS TO YOUR SUPERVISOR IMMEDIATELY.
