The native 1080p pixel array of this panel has its advantages. Not only can users see 1920x1080 images pixel to pixel at 55” in diagonal, without aliasing artifacts f rom panel scaling, users can also present UHD quadrants to this panel and comfortably view full detail of image areas pixel to pixel at HD viewing distance up to three screen heights back, without incurring the distraction of having to evaluate the same detail at the shorter one and one half or less screen height viewing distance required by UHD panels.
Capable of supporting full on, full off contrast ratios of up to 200,000:1, or higher, up to one million to one. Dual 3G-SDI (4:4:4 Dual Link and 2048x1080 2K at 23.98/24/25 supported).

The Boland BVB55OLED is an affordable, professional solution to display image potential for color, deep contrast, and detail, without the higher costs and displacements of UHD professional displays. Simulated Images:
55” Panel
At 3x Picture Height you see just HD resolution on UHD panels, which force you to sit closer, within 1.5x of Picture Height to see up to full UHD.
55” Panel
You need to remain within 1.5x Picture Heights to see full UHD.
With the native HD BVB55OLED, you can view HD Images in full Built by Boland 1:1 pixel detail with full OLED SDR contrast potential: 55” Native Full HD Panel 1920x1080 showing 1080p image1:1 pixel Target Viewing Distance of Three Times the Picture Height for Full Modulation HD (see EBU TECH 3320v3 October 2014).
At 3x Picture Height you can see up to full HD 1080p/60 on the BVB55OLED panel.
You can also externally route quadrants or center cuts* of UHD and view them 1:1 pixel in full detail with full OLED SDR contrast potential, and at HD 3x Picture Height on the BVB55OLED: 55” Native Full HD Panel 1920x1080 showing quadrant of UHD 2160p image 1:1 pixel

Images that come first. Whether your content is bright or dark, or colorful, or black and white, the BVB55OLED supports your images with WOLED spectral illuminance efficiency. That keeps the power in your image where bright, dark and color can be represented in the illuminant spectrum emulation with neutral and natural deep contrast. If you are replacing plasmas, gone are the artificial brightness shifts from plasma technology, gone are the surprises of plasma local dimming and brightening, and gone are the plasma motion and landing artifacts. Back is the brightness of CRT, and the flexibility to shape step gamma and optimize traditional settings for display of legacy digital and analog input content. What has arrived is also the capability to see the potential of your image with deep contrast in the trends for high dynamic range. For out of the box white point selection, the BVB55OLED has menu choices of Preset, Variable, and User Color Temperature Settings. For individualized user optimizations and refined calibrations, the BVB55OLED has significant range Gain and Bias for Black and White Balance and minimum and maximum illuminance levels. The panel also has significant Gamma Preset, and Brightness choices that can also aid in optimizing curve shape, Contrast adjustment, Color Level adjustment, and the classic overall Tint phase adjustment. There are three User memories for custom settings. The latest builds of CalMan have white RGB Available through LG OLED as a display device spectral characteristic choice for the C6 series colorimeter probes, for a Judd offset. All Images Simulated.
