Monthly Guest Artists are selected by a jury committee of Artist/Owners at Sea Grape Gallery. Work is evaluated on the basis of originality of design, craftsmanship, and presentation. We prefer work that is different from what our current members exhibit. Selected artists will be required to sign a Guest Artist Contract which states a 40% commission will be retained by Sea Grape Gallery on all work sold during the exhibition. Each Guest Artist is required to pay a $40 per month exhibit fee, due at the signing of the Guest Artist Contract, and which partially offsets the cost of Guest Artist advertising. Guest Artists are also required to bring in the artwork to be exhibited on a scheduled date, attend the Gallery Walk reception, and pick up unsold work at the end of the scheduled exhibition, on a specified date. The Guest Artist Program Coordinator will contact you with the results of the application, which could take up to a month Thank you for your patience.
