Tuner Off – To turn the tuner to the “off” state or to select the tuner during cassette playback (the cassette will stop if the tuner “off” button is pressed during playback). 2. AM/FM Dolby - To select the radio band (AM or FM)or to select Dolby Noise Reduction during cassette playback (the cassette will stop if the Dolby button is pressed during playback; the play button must be pressed to restart playback). 3. Track (Forward) – To fast-forward a cassette or to start a forward radio station search while player is in tuner mode. 4. Play/Reverse -- To play or reverse playback direction without having to remove the cassette. Select cassette playback from tuner mode if a cassette is loaded. 6. Press “Tuner” button to activate the radio. 2. Press AM/FM to select the desired band. Each time you press, the band switches between AM/FM. 3. The AM/FM DOLBY button, track advance , and track reverse buttons may be utilized to “search” for and lock in a radio station. Press the appropriate button until the desired station is located. The digital display will indicate the selected station. 4. Insert a cassette into the slot with the label facing up. The digital display will read “cassette - IN”. The symbol will illuminate when a cassette is being played. 2. Press to reverse playback direction of the tape to the opposite side of the inserted cassette. The symbol or symbol will illuminate on the digital display to indicate the direction of play of the cassette. 3. To stop playing a cassette, press the and eject from the slot. 4. To fast-forward cassette play, press the symbol. The cassette will fastforward until the next selection is located. Fast-forward will stop and playback will resume. 5. To reverse cassette play, press the symbol. The cassette will reverse playback until the preceding selection is located. Reverse search will stop and playback will resume. symbol. The display will indicate a “0” (current selection). Press once to search back to the beginning of the current track, press twice to search back to the beginning of the previous selection (the display will indicate “1”), etc. Each press of the button will change the display to count the number of selections from 1 to 9. Play starts at the beginning of the displayed selection number. 7. To make a forward track search, press the symbol. The display will indicate a “1”. Press once to fast forward to the next selection (the display will indicate a “2”), press twice to fast forward to the next selection (the display will indicate a “3”), etc. through 9 selections. Play starts at the beginning of the displayed track number. 8. Faulty wiring CAUSE SOLUTION Connect to 28 VDC. Check connections. No Sound Circuit breaker not ON Cassette not installed Turn circuit breaker to ON position. Install Cassette Cassette defective Replace Cassette Tuner not turned “on” Moisture may have condensed inside the unit. Foreign object in tape slot Turn tuner “on” Allow unit to warm to room temperature and moisture has evaporated.
