H4X4-232-4K HDMI 4 In 4 Out 4K Matrix with RS232 Control H4X4-232-4K is a High Performance HDMI Matrix with four HDMI inputs and 4 HDMI outputs. It allows HDMI sources like Blu-Ray player, Satellite, Cable Boxes, Gaming Systems to be displayed on 4 TV’s up to 4Kx2K@30Hz. With a EDID switch to give flexibility in matching a variety of sources and TV’s you have what you need to make a successful installation. Installation: Setting up Matrix Auto Mode - Step 1: Make sure EDID dip switches on front panel are all set (0000). - Step 2: Make sure all devices powered off. - Step 3: Connect HDMI input and the HDMI outputs to the Matrix, source and TV’s. - Step 4: Plug power into HDMI Matrix then power source and TV’s. (Note: If HDMI Matrix reads a TV with max 1080p output first and you have a 2nd TV attached that is 4K capable your max picture resolution will be 1080p). - For best results assign a EDID switch position that works with your lowest resolution or capable TV so that all TV’s will perform equally and you do not have to worry about certain TV’s maybe not being compatible with the EDID settings set in Auto mode. Operation Controls and Function Front Panel
ON/OFF: Power on/off switch. POWER: This red LED illuminates when the device is connected with power supply & switch on. IR IN: Remote control signal receive. OUTPUT A: Press this button to select the input source to HDMI OUTPUT A, LED illuminates when the output is select to the corresponding input.
OUTPUT B: Press this button to select the input source to HDMI OUTPUT B, LED illuminates when the output is selected to the corresponding input.
OUTPUT C: Press this button to select the input source to HDMI OUTPUT C, LED illuminates when the output is selected to the corresponding input.
OUTPUT D: Press this button to select the input source to HDMI OUTPUT D, LED illuminates when the output is selected to the corresponding input.
Rear Panel
INPUT PORTS: LED1-4 illuminate when the HDMI signal is detected. INPUT 1-4 ports are where you connect the HDMI sources.
OUTPUT PORTS: LED A-D illuminate when the TV is detected. OUTPUT A-D ports are where you connect the HDTV or monitor with HDMI cables.
RS232: This port can control the matrix via PC. DC 12V: Plug the 12V DC power supply into the unit and connect the adaptor to AC wall outlet.

Controlling Matrix By Computer • • • •
Copy MatrixController.exe to PC which is used to control the Matrix by RS232 COM port or TCP/IP. Connect PC and Matrix by RS232 cable or RS232 to USB cable if RS232 is not an option on your PC. Power-up Matrix Double click MatirxController.exe icon to run it
