We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order to fully understand all the operational features it offers. Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future reference. UNPACKING OPERATION OVERHEAT PROTECTION Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to any local regulations. 1. Choose an easy to reach mains socket to connect your hair dryer so that you can unplug it immediately in emergencies. Your hair dryer features an auto shut off function that automatically engages if the unit overheats. The following items are included: 2. Attach the airflow concentrator to the air outlet to help with hair styling if desired. 3. The hair dryer may release a small amount of white smoke and a slight smell when being used for the first time. This is normal and is harmless to you and will disappear after using a few times. • Before you reuse the hair dryer, please make sure the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed by hair or other objects to avoid the unit overheating again. 2 1 0 • If the unit overheats, slide the switch to the ”0” position and unplug it. Wait until it has completely cooled down before using again. The Concentrator Nozzle (P.N.: 123-566) • Do not place the air outlet too close to your hair or skin. • Always unplug the hair dryer if it is not in use. • Always grasp the plug when unplugging the unit, never tug at the mains cable. CLEANING 4. Make sure the power switch is in the “0” position. Plug the unit in and switch on the power switch. Your hair dryer provides two different air speeds with two different hot levels and cool air options and overheat protection. 5. Turning the hair dryer on and select the desired air speed and temperature by the power switch and temperature switch. Remove the concentrator nozzle to remove hairs and dust and also air inlet. 3. Clean the unit with a slightly wet cloth then remove any excess water with a dry cloth. 4. Hang your hair dryer via the loop when it is not in use. 5. A soft day brush may be used to remove dust and hairs from the air inlet grill and front grill, to ensure proper airflow at all times. Temperature Switch • Never use harsh solvents to clean your hair dryer as these may damage the unit. • Do not wind the mains cable around the hair dryer to avoid damaging the mains cable. 6. Turn off the hair dryer. 3 2 1 1. Always turn off your hair dryer and unplug it before cleaning it. Slide the power switch to position “0”. COOLING FUNCTION HINTS & TIPS Press and hold the COOL button when the hair dryer is turned on to generate cool air. The power switch button is also operational in COOL AIR mode. If your hair dryer fails to operate, please check the following: The hair dryer would not gernerate cold air unless the power switch is switched on. 2. Has the unit overheated? (See Overheat Protection for details) 1. Is the plug plugged into a mains socket properly? 3. Does the power socket work properly? (You can test your hair dryer with another mains socket) If the problem still cannot be solved, please contact a qualified technician.
