Hamster is a 4WD rugged platform with built in Navigation algorithms that allows it to explore, map and localize in unknown areas. Hamster has 2 on board Raspberry PI Linux servers for algorithm execution and an Arduino for low level control. It also has a built in PDU (power distribution unit) that allows it to regulate voltage and thus deliver plenty of power for additional payloads. Most importantly, Hamster already includes an HD camera with h264 video streaming over WIFI and a 360° 6meter range LIDAR out of the box.

Hamster Micro AUGV Hamster is a robust micro Autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle. It has a capable motor and 4WD (differential). Hamster is capable of powering carrying and interfacing various payloads.
Hamster is capable of powerful computations, including Mapping (SLAM), Localization, Path planning, Exploration, Waypoint driving, Obstacle avoidance, Video streaming and Blob detection all running on board the robot.

Hamster is an open platform, built using COTs and designed to support ROS (Robotic Operating System) and targeted for research labs and developers. It comes with a full ROS distribution installed and includes a Simulated environment and an OCU for up to 10 robots simultaneous control.
