VIDEO ECOSYSTEM Flexible, scalable, engineered to simplify The HARDATA SMART FLOW Ecosystem provides solutions for media asset management, workflow automation and remote control. Media Asset Management: Web tools for cataloging video clips with customized marks and tags, advanced search function and integration with video editors. It includes automatic proxy transcoding and advanced user control.
Workflow Automation: Includes a number of background processes, including: automtic ingest from an agenda; transfer of recorded clips to centralized storage; proxy transcoding; management of free space on Playout servers; automatic synchronization of Playout servers from SMART FLOW servers based on the programming of each channel. Remote Control: Allows remote operation of each Playout server channel (ingest or playout). Execution of operations is instant and secure because they are performed in the Playout server. If connection is disrupted, the Playout continues broadcasting with manual operation still available.
SAFE & RELIABLE Designed to maximize operational efficiency All our systems are based on software modules developed entirely by HARDATA®, that integrate with enterprise-grade hardware specially adapted by DELL®. This ensures high stability and long-term global support. HARDATA products are designed to support high availability broadcast requirements. All models feature dual redundant hot-swap power supplies and hot-swap RAID 6 drives. The system can withstand failure of up to two disks simultaneously without losing functionality.

The operating system is licensed by Microsoft and cannot be modified by users. Local network and system settings are made via HARDATA´s application. An advanced permission scheme limits user access to features assigned to their job function. A dashboard with an alert system includes a comprehensive report generator and status updates for the system.
