ADMINS Unified Community for Windows Minimum Hardware Requirements Your municipal financial management system is a mission-critical application, so choosing the appropriate equipment is important. We certify that the ADMINS Unified Community for Windows suite will work with systems meeting these minimum requirements. These requirements are subject to change. When Purchasing New… 3 Thin client or PC capable of running Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Professional. PRINTERS Minimum Requirements… HP LaserJet 2300 24Mb of RAM Networked 5 MICR Toner 4 When Purchasing New… HP Laser Jet PCL 5 compliant high speed, high duty cycle printer with a minimum of 128Mb of RAM, network ready and MICR toner available. MICR Toner ADD-INS Please refer to the “Minimum Software/Add-In Requirements” 1 Windows Small Business Server 2003 editions do not support the Terminal Server environment in application server mode. Terminal Services CALs and Windows CALs must be purchased separately. If using Terminal Services, Remote Desktop is used to connect to the server. If using Citrix, a Citrix client component must be installed on each desktop. 3 Only Professional editions of the client operating systems may be used as the home editions are not network capable 4 Home/small office printers are not recommended. 5 Required if producing Payables and/or Payroll checks using blank (non-pre numbered) stock.
