Power  On/Off:   • • To  power  on  the  camera,  when  not  connected  to  the  Car  Charger  or  USB  cord,  press  the  Power  On/Off   button  momentarily.   When   the   Car   Charger   is   inserted   into   the   USB   port   of   the   camera   (assuming   the   charger   is   already   connected  to  the  12V  auxiliary  power  outlet  aka  cigarette  lighter  receptacle)  it  will  turn  on  (if  off)  and   start  recording  automatically.  When  the  cord  disconnected,  the  camera  will  power  off  automatically.   2.  Recording:   • • When   the   camera   is   on,   without   the   charger,   press   the   ‘REC’   button,   momentarily,   to   start   recording.   To   stop  recording,  momentarily  press  the  “REC”  button  again.   When  the  Car  Charger  is  inserted  into  the  camera  through  the  USB  port,  the  camera  will  start  recording   automatically.  Press  the  “REC”  button  momentarily  to  stop  recording.   3.  Photography:   •   When   camera   is   on,   press   the   “Mode”   button   to   enter   “Photography”   mode.   Once   in   “Photography”   mode;  press  “REC”  to  take  photos.   4. Preview/Playback:   • When  camera  is  ON,  press  “Mode”  button  twice  to  enter  “Preview/Playback”  mode.  To  select  a  specific   file  use  the  “Up/Down”   buttons   to   browse   the   videos/photos,   then   press   “REC”   to   playback   the   selected   file  or  view  photo.     Video  menu:   During  video  mode,  press  “Menu”  button  to  enter  the  video  menu  setting;   1.  Video  resolution:  VGA/HD   • VGA:640  x  480/25FPS   • HD:1280  x  720/25FPS   2. Date  Stamp:  On/Off   • When   “Date   Stamp”   is   ON,   the   date/time   details   will   be   stamped   onto   video   screen   and   photos,   as   watermark.   • When  “Date  Stamp”  is  OFF,  the  date/time  details  will  not  be  stamped  onto  video  screen  and  photos.   3. Motion  Detection:  On/Off   • When  “Motion  Detection”  is  ON,  the  camera  will  record  automatically  when  movement  is  detected.   • When  “Motion  Detection”  set  OFF,  the  camera  will  operate  normally.   4. Voice  recording:  On/Off   • When  “Voice  Recording”  is  ON,  the  camera  will  record  with  audio.   • When  “Voice  Recording”  is  OFF,  the  camera  will  record  without  audio.   5.  Loop  recording:   • When   “Loop   Recording”   is   on,   the   camera   records   footage   in   increments   of   2,   5,   and   15   minutes,   whichever  you  choose.   o 2  min:  Video  segments  will  be  2  min  long   o 5  min:  Video  segments  will  be  5  min  long   o 15  min:  Video  segments  will  be  15  min  long     Photo  menu:   In  “Photography”  mode,  press  “Menu”  button  to  enter  photo  menu.   • VGA:photo  size  will  be  640  x  480   • 1.3M:photo  size  will  be  1280  x  1024     Preview  menu:   In  “Preview”  mode,  press  “Menu”  button  to  enter  “Preview”  menu.   1.  Delete:  Single/All/Cancel   • Single:  Deletes  the  current  file.   • All:  Deletes  all  the  files     • Cancel:  Exits  the  sub-­‐menu   2.  Thumbnail:  Execute/Cancel   • Execute:all  files  will  display  by  thumbnail  format   • Cancel:  back  to  last  menu   3.  Volume:     • Volume  is  adjustable  from  1  (the  lowest)  to  8  (the  highest).   Setup  Menu:   Press  “Menu”  button  twice  to  enter  “Setup”  menu   1.  Format:     • Execute:all  data  in  TF  card  will  be  deleted   • Cancel:  back  to  last  menu   2.  Language:   • The  type  of  language  can  be  changed  here.  There  are  six  languages  to  choose  from.   3.  System  reset:  Execute/Cancel   • Execute:  will  reset  the  device  to  the  factory  defaulted  data;   • Cancel:  back  to  last  menu   4.  Light  frequency   • 50Hz/60Hz  selectable  for  different  countries  (For  North  America  please  choose  60Hz)   5.  Date  Input:     • Date  input:  First  select  the  format  –  MM/DD/YYYY,  then  press  “REC”  to  set.  Use  UP/DOWN  buttons  to   select   correct   variable,   then   press   “REC”   button   to   confirm   and   move   to   next   field.   Continue   this   way   until  the  date  and  time  are  complete.   • Cancel:  Will  take  you  back  to  the  main  menu.   6.  TV  Output   • PAL/NTSC  selectable  for  different  countries.  (Use  NTSC  for  North  America)     How  to  download  files  from  device:   • • • • Connect  the  camera  to  a  PC  using  the  provided  USB  data  cable.   Wait  for  the  “Autoplay”  menu  to  appear.   Select  “View  Files  and  Folders”.   Copy  the  files  that  you  want  from  the  folder  “DCIM”.       Technical  Parameters:       LCD  screen   2.7”  Hi-­‐definition  TFT-­‐LCD  screen     Video  resolution   HD(1280  x  720)/VGA  (640  x  480)     Video  file  format   AVI     Photo  size   1.3MP   (1280  x  1024)/VGA  (640  x  480)     Photo  file  format   JPG     TF  card  supported     4GB-­‐32GB     Mic/Speaker   Built-­‐in     TV  output   PAL/NTSC     Power  input   DC  5V/1A     Battery   Built-­‐in  Li-­‐ion  battery  rechargeable   Note:  Factory  reserves  the  right  to  change  the  specs  of  device  without  further  notice.       Troubleshooting   a) Cannot  record?   Confirm  the  memory  card  is  inserted  properly  and  there  is  enough  free  space  on  the  memory  card  to  record.     Also  confirm  that   the  unit  has  enough   battery  or  is  plugged  into  a  power  source.         b) Image  is  blurred?
