Product Sheet Video/Broadcast HD Video Media Converter CWDM Mux/Demux Kits VMCR-18-T Series THROW DOWN Pre-configured video rack combines MVMC, Miniature Video Media Converters, and CWDM, Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing, to pack multiple video feeds into a single or dual fiber The VMCR-18 series CWDM rack kit is pre-configured with mini-video media converters (MVMC) that allow the user to transport all digital video signals with data rates ranging from 19.4Mbps (ATSC) to 1.485Gbps (uncompressed SMPTE 292M HD). The VMCR-18 CWDM rack kit can be pre-configured as 16 channel uni-directional (single fiber) or 8 channel bi-directional (dual fiber). Figures 1, 2, and 3 on page two show various types of configurations that are offered and the types of MVMC modules populated in each. This rack is available in open with side slide for chassis mount or enclosed throw down options. Both have front connect coax BNC and rear connect fiber SC interfaces.
