A triumph of Pioneer’s research and commitment in developing top-flight products, the HDJ-2000 headphones are designed to meet the demands of today’s Pro DJs and producers. High-fidelity frequency response of 5 Hz to 30,000 Hz offers superb clarity and clear separation of sound – e.g. hi-hats and kick drums – however noisy the environment. The robust construction of the headphones and the capacity for 3,500 mW of input eliminates distortion – even at sustained loud volumes. Meanwhile the 50mm driver units and high-flux magnets deliver outstanding resolution, from base to treble, making them ideal for all studio applications. And to enable one-ear monitoring, we’ve combined a handy STEREO/ MONO switch with a flexible headband that maintains the side pressure.
The sleek, lightweight magnesium swivel/fold design ensures the HDJ-2000s are stylish and comfortable, yet durable and compact enough to transport between studio and club. Plus a removable mini XLR connector means that the cord can be removed during transit, or even replaced if damaged through heavy use. Heat sensitive, low-rebound urethane-foam (memory foam) with a snug protein leather surface means that each ear cup gives excellent insulation, and stays comfortable even during prolonged wear. The HDJ-2000s also feature a new i-hinge mechanism with auto-return that swivels the ear cups 90 degrees, offering added flexibility – especially to DJs who favour ‘on-the-shoulder’ monitoring. And the HDJ-2000s not only offer precision-matched sound for Pioneer’s DJM mixers, but even feature a stylish aluminium outer finish to match the play/cue buttons on our popular CDJ digital players.

Though targeted at the pro DJ, the seriously stylish HDJ-1000s have long answered the needs of any serious music lover. These new family members have inherited the exceptional sound quality and lightweight, futuristic design of the original HDJ1000s – but add extra comfort features and two special edition colours for good measure.
But they don’t just sound good, they look and feel good too. The stylish new HDJ-1000s come with either gold or black arms and hinges, plus lowrebound urethane on the ear pads which makes for a better fit, ensuring comfort during the longest DJ set. An adjustable, padded headband ensures they stay right where you need them.
The new HDJ-1000s sport a thicker diaphragm (38 micrometers) and longer voice coil (1.5mm) than their predecessor, enabling playback of low and heavy sounds. Offering 3,500 mW of input, the headphones eliminate distortion, while the 50mm dome fully encloses the ear for the best possible sound clarity. Plus the protection resistance in the MONO/STEREO switch has been halved, making beats and other mid-range sounds even easier to hear.
Other features include the 90-degree swivel mechanism with auto-return, to suit all monitoring styles, a compact folding structure, and exchangeable cables and ear pads.

The HDJ-500s are sound engineered to provide clear audio reproduction in the low and mid frequency ranges that are essential to accurately monitor dance music. Sound pressure is optimised through the 40mm driver unit and by narrowing the ear pad opening, while snare and kick drums are crystal clear thanks to the 19μm diaphragm and copper-clad aluminium wire voice coil – making matching the tempo of tracks a breeze even for beginners. Like Pioneer’s professional headphones, the HDJ-500s also boast a rotating arm structure that makes them adaptable to any DJing style, while the flexible headband means that the right ear pad
can be slid back by up to 60 degrees for convenient one-ear monitoring. Also the streamlined hanger makes it easy to distinguish between the left and right sides of the headphones while at work in the booth. And the interchangeable cords mean DJs can have that all-important freedom to move – but with a tidier connection when listening to music on the go. In addition to the 1.2m coil cord, which extends to 3m for ease of movement in the booth, the HDJ-500-T comes with a 1m cord with microphone and phone button. Users can simply push the phone button to answer calls or start a new one, even when listening to music on the phone. The HDJ-500-T, available in black, shares all the excellent sound quality features and comfort of its HDJ-500 sisters, with the added flexibility of being just as useful in leisure time as it is in the booth.
