HEALBE GOBE™ QUICK START GUIDE Here are a few recommendations and helpful tips for getting started with your Healbe GoBe. For more information, see the full manual at: http://healbe.com/manual http://healbe.com/faq
1. CHARGE YOUR GOBE Charging time: About 30-50 min. Please make sure that your GoBe is firmly installed in the charger. Battery life: Up to 2 days, depending on how often you sync with the smartphone app. For optimal battery life, we recommend syncing 3-5 times per day. How to charge your GoBe: Place it in the charger. • If your GoBe is partly charged : o Leave GoBe on and connect to the charger. o The display will read CHARGING every 15 sec. o When charging is finished, GoBe will automatically turn off. • If the battery is completely drained: o Connect to the charger. o Give one short push to the button on the side of the sensor unit. The display will read CHARGING. Coming soon: Display % charged with one short push of the button while charging. This feature will be avalible in the next firmware version.
2. TURN GOBE ON Push the button on the side of the device and hold for 2-3 seconds. The first time you turn on your GoBe, you will need to pair it with your smartphone and the Healbe GoBe™ App via Bluetooth. The default PINCODE is 000000 (six zeroes). If you do not connect with the app within 5 min of powering up, GoBe will automatically switch off. It takes some time (10 sec – 2 min) for GoBe to make a connection between the sensor and your skin. To speed things up, apply some moisture to the skin under the sensor. If GoBe doesn’t make a connection within 5 min, it will automatically switch off.

3. SET UP YOUR PROFILE When you set up your profile, you’ll be asked to enter some information about yourself and your health. The profile is fairly in-depth, because our algorithms need this data to make precise calculations. Please be as accurate as possible when filling out your profile! It will influence the accuracy of the insights you get from your Healbe GoBe. Once your profile is set up, your GoBe will give you personalized insights about your own body. If someone else uses your GoBe, the insights will be inaccurate, because the initial parameters for calculations are based on your body.
4. UPLOAD THE FIRMWARE Before you can get started, your Healbe GoBe needs to install the latest firmware. Follow the instructions in the app to download the GoBe firmware before your first use. The app will notify you when updates to the firmware are available. When new firmware is available, you just need to follow these simple instructions: • Connect GoBe to the charger • Go to the ‘wristband’ menu in the smartphone app
• You will see the Healbe logo and “update available” • Tap the “install” button • It will take a few minutes for the install to finish.
5. TELL IT NOTHING. KNOW EVERYTHING. GOBE YOU. Healbe GoBe automatically tracks key elements of whole-body health, including calories consumed and burned, activity, hydration, stress, sleep, heart rate, and blood pressure. Here are all the details:

Automatically Measures Calorie Intake GoBe calculates your calorie intake through your skin. Know exactly how many calories you’re consuming with no manual logging, no estimates and no error-prone guesswork. Learn more Some examples on button functionality that will help you to use it in a proper way: 1. Small food amount (less than 350 kcal) — no need to push the button. Please wait for the app to ask you confirmation of whether you have eaten during this period of time, and then tap ‘Yes’.

Normal food amount (from 350 to 800 kcal per dish) — before you eat (or drink anything that contains abovementioned amount of calories, such as soda or juice) please push the button on the side of the device for 2 seconds until your GoBe vibrates and the display reads ‘FOOD’. 3. Short meal time with big number of calories (more than 800 kcal, fast food dinner f.ex. (burger + fries + soda + sauce + ice cream or pie)) — push the button 2 times: before you eat and then right after that. 4. Long meal time (1 dish consumed during a long period of time) — if you continue to eat within 20-30 minutes, please push the button again. 5. Long meal (f.ex. several dishes, salad/ main cuisine/restaurant dessert) — please push the button again before you start every following dish. Do not worry if you forget to push the button: GoBe asks you if you have had a meal the next time you sync with your app. !!! Be sure to confirm any times you ate, so you can get the most accurate calorie intake measurement. Useful information about your body: 1. If you forget to push the button, GoBe will ask you if you had a meal the next time you sync with your app. Be sure to confirm any times you ate, so you can get the most accurate calorie intake measurement. 2. On average, our bodies can digest 500700 calories in two hours. If you eat more than that, it will take longer than 2 hours for your body to digest it and for GoBe to register your calorie intake. In some cases, it might take several days for a very large meal to be fully digested! 3. Salt slows down the digestion process. For example, an average meal at a fast food restaurant (burger + fries + soda + sauce) has about 1000 calories. Because of the large amount of salt and calories, it will take ~5 hours to digest this meal. 4. Important information about the calorie intake button: Glucose concentrations fluctuate throughout the day whether you’re eating or not. GoBe detects all changes of glucose in the body, both from calorie intake and from fasting glucose fluctuations. Pressing the calorie intake button lets us confirm that fluctuations during a given period of time are due to calorie intake. If you accidentally press the button for longer than 2 seconds, just answer “No” when you sync with the app and it asks you to confirm whether you ate during this period of time. If you answer, “Yes,” for a period of time when you didn’t eat, Healbe FLOW Technology’s algorithms will interpret your body’s glucose fluctuations as if they are due to calorie intake, and your app will show an inaccurate calorie intake measurement.

Note: In some cases, you may be surprised to learn how many calories there are in the food you eat. For example, a 3.5 oz cookie can have up to 500 calories, and a single waffle with toppings can contain up to 1000 calories!

Keep in mind that GoBe tracks nighttime sleep only. The device begins monitoring your sleep status at 9:00 PM (21:00) and stops at 12:00 PM (12:00).
