Beatles Tribute Band Technical Rider! page 1 of 2, updated 2/18/13 Sound System Specification To be supplied by promoter at no charge to the artist: PA = The PA system as a whole has to be capable of delivering an undistorted sound pressure of 101 dB(A) to every head of the audience in a frequency range of 45Hz - 16kHz = All necessary wiring and power supply. Power supply also to feed FOH and Stage. FOH = One (1) mixing console capable of taking 16 inputs and feeding 4 monitor mixes plus house mix. Two FX units with fully editable Reverb / Delay algorithms built in or outboard. Digital console like Mackie DL1608 or Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 or Yamaha LS9-16 preferred. = 31-band house EQ = All necessary wiring and lighting Monitors = Five (5) wedges of the same make and model arranged into four (4) mixes (please see stage plot). = Four (4) 31-band eq units, one for each monitor mix. Microphones/DI = One (1) Sennheiser e901 or Shure Beta91 or Shure Beta52 for kick drum = One (1) Sennheiser e905 or e904 or e604 or Shure SM57 for snare drum = Two (2) Sennheiser e904 or e604 or Shure SM57 for toms = Two (2) AKG C414 or C451 or Sennheiser e914 or Shure SM81 for drum overheads = Two (2) Sennheiser e906 or e606 or Shure SM57 for guitar amps = Five (5) Shure SM58 or Beta58 for vocals = Four (4) Radial JDI or Pro-DI or J48 DI boxes = All necessary stands, clamps and wiring including plenty of extra XLR and 1/4” Backline = One (1) four piece drum kit with kick, snare and two toms with all necessary stands, clamps and holders. Kick drum must be 22” as we bring our custom logo drumhead. = One (1) hi-hat machine = Two (2) cymbal stands with booms = One (1) pair 13”-14” hi-hat cymbals = One (1) 16”-18” crash cymbal = One (1) 18”-22” ride cymbal = One (1) drum throne = One (1) drum carpet = One (1) bass amplifier with cabinet like Ampeg or Fender, all necessary wiring = Two (2) tube electric guitar amplifiers like VOX or Fender = One (1) professional 88-key stage piano like Yamaha CP33, Kurzweil PC88, Roland RD-700, etc. with stand and sustain pedal = One (1) piano bench = Six (6) guitar stands = Reasonable number of power outlets across the stage for keys, guitar fx, etc. The whole system is to be set up at least two (2) hours before sound check time. Sound check is to take at least one (1) hour. The artist is not to be held responsible for any damage to the speaker system caused by not meeting our power requirements.
