Trains The Ring Rail Line not only connects long distance trains to the airport, it also allows for quick and easy access from the airport to the city centre. By taking either the I or P train you can reach the city centre in only half an hour. A single ticket costs €5.50. I trains operate from Helsinki via Pasila to Tikkurila and the airport and back to Helsinki. P trains operate from Helsinki via Pasila and Huopalahti to the airport and back to Helsinki via Tikkurila. Finnair City Bus Finnair City Bus operates between Helsinki Airport (Terminal 1 platform 11, Terminal 2 platform 10) and Helsinki Railway Station (Elielinaukio, platform 30) every 20 minutes. A single ticket costs €6.30 (cash and credit cards accepted). Taxis A taxi from the airport to Helsinki costs around €40.
