Features ▪Copper/Fiber Dual Personality LAN Port The LAN port has both copper and fiber media to provide flexibility for more applications and scenarios. The LAN port will automatically select the medium for transmission with auto-detection feature. ▪Easy Installation and Connection With MDI/MDIX auto crossover and 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation support, no crossover cable and manual speed setting is required connected to the network. ▪DHCP Auto Provision DHCP auto provision function can fulfill the choice of deployment scale and reduce the OPEX of device maintenance for service providers or operators. ▪Q-in-Q VLAN The service providers can transmit the encapsulated trafic for different customers without security risk with Q-in-Q VLAN stacking. ▪SNMP Power Down Trap Built-in CTS unique SNMP power down trap function helps rapidly identify network faults due to power outage and reduce truck rolls to save OPEX for operators or service providers.
Description Connection Technology System (CTS) HES-3112-CL-DR Managed Media Converter is equipped with a gigabit dual personality LAN port (TP +SFP) and a dual rate 100/1000Mbps fiber optic WAN port with an eye-catching pearl-white housing. It is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab and 802.3z standards, supporting conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 100/1000Base-X network, and multimode to single mode fiber transmission. The operation status can be monitored directly through the comprehensive LED indicators. The HES-3112CL-DR Managed Media Converter can be easily managed via telnet CLI, SNMP and Web GUI. To fulfill the requirement of mass deployment, the device also supports the auto provision mechanism to allow the operators or service providers to upgrade the device or update the configuration automatically and dynamically. Consequently, it can significantly save the OPEX (operational cost) for the operators or service providers. With CTS unique power down trap feature, HES-3112-CLDR is able to send out a SNMP trap message when encountering power outage.
▪Optional Fiber Cable Tray (HES-FCT-S) The fiber cable tray offers a great protection over the excessive fiber cable, at the same time making the space neat and pleasant.
