High Capacity Vertical End Panels Part Numbers: PEVEP INSTRUCTIONS CM445 © Panduit Corp. 2010 Instructions for Removing Knockouts To mount end panel to a PEV dual-sided manager on either side of a rack, all four knockouts on both panels must be removed. To mount end panel to a PEV single-sided manager on the right side of a rack, only the two knockouts on the left side of both end panels must be removed. To mount end panel to a PEV single-sided manager on the left side of a rack, only the two knockouts on the right side of both end panels must be removed. When panels are mounted, labels will face toward manager and appear near the top of each panel To be removed when mounting to PEV singlesided manager on rightside of rack. PEVEP (2) End Panels (8) 3/8-16 Acorn Nuts (8) 3/8 Bolts (4) 1/4” Washers (4) 1/4-20 X 3/8” Screws (4) 1/4-20 Nuts (2) Floor Mounting Brackets To be removed when mounting to PEV singlesided manager on left side of rack. All knockouts must be removed when mounting to any PEV dual-sided manager, regardless of orientation to rack. Line up the holes in the manager with the holes in the end panel. Step2: Insert bolt(s) from the inside of the manager through the lower hole(s) in the end panel. Loosely attach the 3/8-16 acorn nut(s). Step 3: Insert bolt(s) from the inside of the manager through the upper hole(s) in the end panel. Hand-tighten the 3/8-16 acorn nut(s). Step 4: Hand-tighten the 3/8-16 acorn nut(s) in the lower hole(s). Installation to right side of dualsided manager (2 bolts per mounting location) Installation to left side of singlesided manager (1 bolt per mounting location) Upper holes 3/8-16 Nuts tighten by hand Lower holes Step 5: Repeat steps 2-4 for upper end panel. Upper holes 3/8-16 Nuts tighten by hand 3/8-16 Bolt Inside of manager Lower holes Close up of bolt mounting locations 1/4-20 Nuts Geometry modified for clarification: Not all molded fingers are shown 1/4-20 Bolts and Washers Bracket may be anchored to floor using these slots (Hardware not included). Bracket may be orientated on either inside or outside of panel. Note: Bracket must be mounted outward when Cool Boot is used.
