No job is too small or too large. Whatever your input and output requirements, Ukon can be configured to provide up-conversion, down-conversion and cross-conversion, as well as ensuring precise lipsync and time-code integrity. Ukon also takes care of your audio requirements, including embedded, AES and compressed audio formats, and carries out timecode conversion from any SD or HD format to any HD or SD format with the reassurance of exact frame mapping.
The Evertz Afterburner makes up-down/cross conversions a snap, facilitating the creation of off-line video tapes from HD masters. The Afterburner has a high quality downconverter that provides two clean SDI downconverted outputs with VITC suitable for creation of high quality viewing copies. Afterburner provides one SDI and one analog monitoring output with VITC and characters suitable for on-the-set monitoring or creation of tapes for non-linear editing. The system also features 1080p/24fps video conversion with 2:3 pulldown at 30 fps output, a ‘film mode’ to work with telecine masters and a ‘video mode’ for field acquired HD video. Raw assets can also be assembled using HD linear and Final Cut Pro HD® non-linear editing solution. HD Duplication & Quality Control ADS supports all compressed and uncompressed HD formats like D5, HD CAM, HD CAM SR, HD DVC PRO, SONY HDV, DVHS and HD MPEG while offering 100% Quality Control (QC) for all HD tape formats. Our QC operators are trained to detect video and audio problems for network broadcast and other delivery formats throughout the project’s workflow.
