Product Description The Comtrol DeviceMaster range includes 1 - 32 port device servers designed to network-enabling RS-232/422/485 serial devices. There are two lower cost models with RS-232 only. Using our NS-Link™ driver and a host PC, the application running on the PC can address com/tty ports on a serial devices anywhere on an Ethernet network or across the Internet. Connecting legacy serial devices to a PC without software changes is easy using a pair of DeviceMaster RTS units to create a point-to-point serial tunnel across the network, seamlessly transfer serial data via TCP or UDP socket. The wide temperature range of the DeviceMaster enable the products to be used in the harshest of environments. An SDK is available to allow users to develop custom applications on the DeviceMaster platform.
