Advanced inverted microscopes complete with bright field and phase contrast plus optional fluorescence for tissue culture cellular manipulation and microbiology. It has ergonomically located controls at bench height for ease of operation. The trinocular head is inclined at 45° and has 22mm/10x wide field eyepieces (Siedentopf type), adjustable 48 to 75mm. The central removable glass stage plate allows easy selection of the desired objective while the detachable mechanical stage has adaptors to hold slides, Petri dishes and 96 well plates. Illumination is from the 6V/30W halogen bulb which is directed through the precentred condenser and has a working distance of 72mm and an integral filter holder. The precentred phase rings, which are on a single slider, pass through the condenser frame. There is a blank position for use in bright field mode. The quintuple inverted nosepiece has a click stop and allows all 5 objectives including two bright field (4x, 40x) and three phase contrast (10x, 20x, 40x complete with phase plates) to be easily selected. The microscope has a sturdy T frame to provide stability during usage. The epi fluorescent version comes complete with 100W HBO light source, Blue (excitation BP460 to BP490, dichroic mirror DM500 filter BA520) and green (excitation BP480 to BP550, dichroic DM570 filter BA590) filter blocks on an integrated slider mechanism. The trinocular allows for the attachment of either a digital or video camera via the appropriate C-mount connection. A stereo microscope suited to viewing specimens at low magnifications. The binocular optical head is inclined at 45° and the eyepieces are 10x 20mm widefield. The binocular optical head is also equipped with a turret changer with two fixed magnifications 2x and 4x (FB69155). This gives considerable flexibility for low level magnification and a working distance up to 75mm. Dioptric adjustment is provided on one eyepiece and focusing is achieved with rack and pinion on the fixed column mount. The stage features a frosted and black/white contrast plate. Transmitted and/or incident light illumination is provided through episcopic tungsten and diascopic halogen 12V/10W bulbs. The microscope has eyecaps, a blue filter, dust cover and an instruction manual. The electrical supply is 230V, 50Hz.
