Product Overview The PCTV To Go network TV tuner lets you watch your home TV on your PC via a home network or a broadband Internet connection. PCTV To Go streams TV sources via the network to the TV viewing software on the PC. The ability to control and record your home TV from different locations is called “PlaceShifting”. And only Pinnacle PCTV To Go lets you PlaceShift AND TimeShift home TV over both a home network and the Internet. For Windows Vista and XP equipped PCs, Pinnacle PCTV To Go gives you access to all the great Microsoft Windows Media Center features. It seamlessly integrates into your wired network.

What is PlaceShifting? PlaceShifting refers to the ability to access the TV shows you receive at home in other locations via a network connection. PlaceShifting devices take a home TV channel and convert it into a data stream that can be received by special software on a remote device, such as a PC. Most PlaceShifting devices only make the stream available over the internet. Pinnacle PCTV To Go streams TV over a home network, in addition to over the internet.
