HomePlug Turbo (85Mbps) > 6-Outlet Power Strip with 3 Ethernet Ports The GigaFast HomePlug Turbo 6-Outlet Power Strip with 3 Ethernet Ports operates on the HomePlug 1.0 Powerline standard, providing up to 85Mbps bandwidth over home AC wiring. The 6 filtered power ports allow multiple devices to plug in for power, and filters them so they do not effect the performance of the built in HomePlug Turbo 3-Port Ethernet Bridge. The built-in 3 Ethernet ports enables up to 3 close-by network-enabled devices to connect onto the same powerline network. With the 85Mbps bandwidth, this PL917-UPS can provide fast streaming standard definition (SD) video, IPTV, digital video recorder (DVR) networking and media center PCs, online gaming, etc. With a plug and play installation, you can easily combine all of your audio video electronics together and instantly enjoy your Entertainment Center from virtually any room in your home. Like all of our HomePlug Turbo products, this PE917-EB is equipped with 56-bit DES security encryption. Combining the private home power grid and the 56-bit DES security encryption, this PE917-EB is extremely secure compared to other technologies such as WiFi network.
