HomePlug Turbo (85Mbps) > Ethernet Bridge The GigaFast HomePlug Turbo Ethernet Bridge operates on the HomePlug 1.0 Powerline Specification standard, providing up to 85Mbps bandwidth over home AC wiring. Combined with a broadband DSL/Cable connection, every room with electrical power outlets will have easy access to Internet connection. With the 85Mbps bandwidth, this PL918-EB can provide fast streaming standard definition (SD) video, IPTV, digital video recorder (DVR) networking and media center PCs, online gaming, etc. With a plug and play installation, you can easily combine all of your audio video electronics together and instantly enjoy your Entertainment Center from virtually any room in your home. Like all of our HomePlug Turbo products, this PL918-EB is equipped with 56-bit DES security encryption. Combining the private home power grid and the 56-bit DES security encryption, this PL918-EB is extremely secure compared to other technologies such as WiFi network.
