Hot water storage heaters and boiling water heaters
Decentralised storage heaters provide conventional hot water supply. They store the hot water in a heat-insulated tank as close as possible to the point-of-use. They provide a limited amount of mixed water without long wait times. After dispensing the water, the storage tank automatically fills up again and heats the water to the set temperature. The size of the storage heater can be selected as required: e. g. small storage heaters are sufficient for single points-of-use (wash basins or sinks). The large wall-mounted storage heaters can centrally supply hot water for several points-of-use in an entire apartment.

Good insulation is a must! High-quality insulation is necessary to keep heat losses during hot water storage at a minimum. Energy saver settings at the temperature control assist in limiting the energy consumption. The intelligent instant boiling water heaters put an end to waiting for boiling water. They provide boiling water for tea, coffee or other hot beverages by simply pushing a button. They can be even more efficient than conventional tea kettles or electric kettle, which often heat more water than is actually needed. This makes the units indispensable for beverage preparation in cafeterias, restaurants, hotels or hospitals.

Researchers at Aston University in Birmingham have shown that the weekly energy demand for typical uses (e. g. tea and coffee preparation) with instant boiling water heaters can be up to 28 % lower than a conventional electric kettle. This was based on ten hours of daily operation from Monday to Friday, and during the rest of the time the Zip Hydroboil® automatically switches to energy-saving mode or turns off completely.

It is used for demand-based hot water preparation at home or a work place. These filters are ion exchangers that combine water softening and water filtration as well as pH adjustment. These water heaters provide a cost-effective, compact and reliable method to reduce water hardness. The filters also improve the taste of the water, since chlorine, odours and flavours are reduced. The special filters are installed in the water inlet line before the boiling water heater system*. >> Uses ion exchanger resins with pH value, the pH value stabilisation prevents excessive acid content >> Stabilisation and active carbon from coconut shells with especially high capacity >> In order to reach the appropriate water hardness, a small amount of the active carbon-filtered water bypasses the water softening stage >> Reduces water hardness, which can lead to mineral deposits in boiling water heater systems >> Hygienic and simple exchange of filter cartridges.
