Cleaning the appliance • The external and internal parts, as well as the rubber seals may be cleaned using a sponge that has been soaked in lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda or neutral soap. Do not use solvents, abrasive products, bleach or ammonia. • The removable accessories may be soaked in warm water and soap or dishwashing liquid. Rinse and dry them carefully. Avoiding mould and unpleasant odours • The appliance is manufactured with hygienic materials which are odour free. In order to maintain an odour free refrigerator and to prevent the formation of stains, food must always be covered or sealed properly. • If you want to switch the appliance off for an extended period of time, clean the inside and leave the doors open.
Holiday function GB CIS To minimize energy usage when on holiday, it is not necessary to switch the appliance off. The appliance has a function which allows it to maintain the temperature of the refrigerator compartment at approximately 12°C (which can also be used to conserve make-up and beauty products). The freezer temperature must be set to the minimum value (1) in order to preserve the food. Defrosting the appliance. CIS the freezer to its full potential GB • Using Use the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE ON/OFF Knob to adjust the temperature (see Description). • Do not re-freeze food that is defrosting or that has already been defrosted. These foods must be cooked and eaten (within 24 hours). • Fresh food that needs to be frozen must not come into contact with food that has already been defrosted. Fresh food must be stored in the top FREEZER and STORAGE compartment where the temperature drops below -18°C and guarantees rapid freezing. • Do not place glass bottles which contain liquids, and which are corked or hermetically sealed in the freezer because they could break. • The maximum quantity of food that may be frozen daily is indicated on the plate containing the technical properties located on the bottom left side of the refrigerator compartment (for example: Kg/24h-4). • To freeze (if the freezer is already operating):
Super Freeze: this mode assures continuous compressor operation up to achievement of low temperatures, necessary for quick food freezing. After food freezing, the appliance should be switched over to a normal operation mode. In order to frost some quantity of fresh produce/food (no more than half of the maximum pointed out on the doorplate/ name board inside your refrigerator), put the produce in the evaporator/freezing section (* ***) and switch on mode of operation “Super” for 24 hours. In order to frost maximum (for your refrigerator) quantity of fresh produce you should switch on mode of operation “Super” 24 hours before produce laying. Put the produce in the evaporator/freezing section (* ***) and switch off mode of operation “Super” in 24 hours. Do not open the door during freezing. If there is a power cut or malfunction, do not open the freezer door. This will help maintain the temperature inside the freezer, ensuring that foods are conserved for at least 9 -14 hours. ICE PARTY to bring a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne to the right temperature. Place it in the bucket provided inside the FREEZER and STORAGE compartment. The bucket may be used to serve the bottle, keeping it cool.

Starting the appliance ! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation instruction (see Installation). ! Before connecting the appliance, clean the compartments and accessories well with lukewarm water and bicarbonate. ! The appliance comes with a motor protection control system which makes the compressor start approximately 8 minutes after being switched on. The compressor also starts each time the power supply is cut off whether voluntarily or involuntarily (blackout). Freezer Compartment When the product is switched on (the ON/OFF button is pressed for more than two seconds) the freezer compartment is set to its default value of -180C We recommend that the SUPER FREEZE function is set (the freezer display shows the text “SF”) in order to accelerate the cooling process of the compartment; when the inside of the compartment has reached its optimal temperature the function will be deactivated and the food may be placed inside. Refrigerator Compartment When the appliance is switched on the refrigerator compartment is set to its default value of +50C We recommend that the SUPER COOL function is set (the refrigerator display shows the text “SC”) in order to accelerate the cooling process of the compartment. After a few hours it will be cool enough for food to be placed inside.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential The Full No Frost system circulates cold air to collect humidity and prevent ice and frost formation. The system maintains an optimal humidity level in the compartment, preserving the original quality of the food, preventing the food from sticking together and making defrosting a thing of the past. Do not block the aeration cells by placing food or containers in direct contact with the refrigerating back panel. Please follow our instructions carefully on maximum storage time: any food, even the freshest, will not remain edible for any extended amount of time. - Do not place liquids in containers without covering them because this will lead to an increase in the level of moisture within the refrigerator, causing the formation of frost.
GB CIS
- Remember to cool hot food before storing otherwise the temperature inside the appliance will increase, causing the compressor to work harder and use more energy. - Contrary to popular belief, cooked foods are not stored any longer than raw food. - The refrigerator compartment is equipped with convenient, removable shelves which can be adjusted for height using the shelf guides. This allows you to place even large containers and foodstuffs in the refrigerator. - Be careful not to place containers (plastic or glass), food or other objects in direct contact with the cooling area of the back wall of the refrigerator. This could harm the food, in-crease energy consumption and facilitate the formation of condensate (on food, containers, etc.). - Activate the SUPER COOL function to lower the temperature quickly. For example, when you place a large number of new food items inside a fridge, the internal temperature will rise slightly. The function quickly cools the groceries by temporarily reducing the temperature until it reaches the ideal level. Fresh Box has a temperature by 3-5OC low than an average temperature of a refrigerating compartment, and it’s destined for such foodstuffs as ham, cutlets, sausage. It’s also recommended to keep there perishables fresh-killed meat, fish, etc., freezing of which is undesirable since they will be used in the near future. Fresh Box should not be moved from its proper place. Don’t lean foodstuffs against the aeration cells.

Navigating the display If the product is switched on, the refrigerator and freezer displays will indicate the temperatures set at that moment. To change them, simply press the buttons corresponding to the compartment for which you wish to change the set temperature. To be specific, each time one of the buttons is pressed the temperature is increased or decreased by 1°, and the number of illuminated horizontal bars is adjusted accordingly. The temperature values that may be selected for the refrigerator compartment are +8°C, +7°C, +6°C, +5°C,+4°C, +3°C and +2°C, while the values that may be set for the freezer are -18°C, -19°C, -120°C, -21°C, 22°C, -24°C and -26°C. I When the I CARE function is active, the appliance automatically adjusts the temperatures according to the conditions inside and outside the refrigerator; the operation of this function is signaled by the text “AUTO”. Positioning and connection Proper installation of the appliance is essential to ensure the best and most efficient performance of your appliance. Ventilation The compressor and condenser generate heat and, therefore, need to be ventilated properly. Rooms with less than perfect ventilation are not very suited for installation of the appliance. Therefore, it should be installed in a room with an opening (window or French window) that provides the appropriate amount of air recirculation. It is also important that the room should not be too humid. During installation, make sure not to cover or obstruct the grates that allow proper ventilation of the appliance. For proper ventilation of the appliance, you must leave: - a space of at least 10 cm between the top part and any cabinets above it; - a space of at least 5 cm between the sides of the appliance and any adjacent cabinets/walls. Away from Heat Avoid positioning the appliance in a place where it is directly exposed to sunlight or near an oven, cook top or the like. Levelling The floor should be perfectly levelled; if not, you can adjust the feet at the front of the appliance.
Íåèñïðàâíîñòè è ìåòîäû èõ óñòðàíåíèÿ Before placing foodstuffs in the refrigerator or freezer, clean the interior well with warm water and baking soda. After having plugged the appliance in, make sure that pilot lamp is light. Set thermostat knob onto a medium position and can place food in the fridge after only a few hours. When the freezer has reached the optimum temperature, you can place frozen food in the freezer. Earthing Before making the electrical connection, check that the voltage shown on the data plate, that you will find on the bottom left hand side of the appliance next to the crisper, corresponds to that of your mains and that the socket is earthen in conformity with all current electrical regulations. If the system is not earthen, the manufacturer declines all liability for consequent damages or losses. Do not use adapters or multiple sockets. Check the power load The electrical socket must support the maximum power load of the appliance shown on the data plate (on the bottom left hand side of the appliance next to the crisper). Before plugging the appliance to the mains Set the appliance upright and wait at least 3 hours before plugging the appliance into the mains to ensure proper performance.
