HOW TO CONNECT A LAPTOP – CISCO C20 / SX20 1) Connect the VGA cable to your laptop (there is only one connection where this cable will fit) 2) Ensure that the cable is connected to the DVI connection on the back of the Cisco 3) On the Cisco Remote Control press the Laptop Presentation button 4) If you receive a message saying “PC Not Connected”, for older laptops you will need to press Function F8 (you may need to press this combination a few times so that the laptop image displays both on the laptop and the monitor), or for newer laptops press the Windows logo key () and P, then select Duplicate. If the message “Unsupported VGA Format” appears, check your screen resolution. The screen resolution should be no higher than 1024 x 768. Please note: You do not have to connect the VGA cable prior to turning your laptop on, it can be done after. Plug VGA Cable into Laptop Laptop Presentation button
