How to Pair Bluetooth Device from LP 15 to Tablet Below are the steps to pair the Bluetooth from the LP 15 to the tablet. Once the devices are paired they will remember each other. The tablet can remember up to 3 devices. For stations with multiple LP 15s and tablets it is recommended to pair all devices. Pairing the Bluetooth on the LP 15 it will have to be done in both the initial startup and in the archive modes. Contact EMS Training if you have any issues pairing the device. Connecting Bluetooth during initial startup Step 1 Turn on LP 15 and log into the desk top of the tablet. Step 2 Use speed wheel on LP 15 to highlight the Bluetooth symbol on top of screen in Yellow. Press in speed wheel to select 1 Step 3 Press Connect and then scroll down to Find Devices and push in speed wheel. This will search for devices to pair with. Step 4 Find device name (number) on back of tablet. Last four numbers in middle row. This device name would be 0925 2 Step 5 Once tablet number shows up on LP 15 press stop on the speed wheel Step 6 Highlight and press in speed wheel on the LP 15 3 Step 7 Go to tablet and push blue square to add device Step 8 Enter pass code 0000 and press next. This is the same pass code for all devices. A message saying connection complete and a blue light next to the Bluetooth symbol on the LP 15. *If connection is unsuccessful remove the device on the tablet, turn off tablet and start at step one. This usually corrects the issue. *On the tablet the Over Metered Connection should be turned on in PC and Device Settings. If this needs to be turned on please contact EMS Training or IT for assistance. 4 Connecting Bluetooth from Archive Mode on LP 15 Step 9 Turn on LP 15, push options, select archives and push in speed wheel Step 10 Select Yes to go into patient archives 5 Step 11 Select Send Data Step 12 Use speed wheel to select Connection then connect then find device 6 Step 13 Once tablet number shows up on LP 15 press stop on the speed wheel Step 14 Highlight the device name (number) and press in speed wheel on the LP 15 to select 7 Step 15 Go to tablet and push blue square to add device Step 16 Enter pass code 0000 and press next. This is the same pass code for all devices. A message saying connection complete on the LP 15. In this mode you will not be able to see the Bluetooth symbol on the LP 15. Step 17 Turn off LP 15 *If connection is unsuccessful remove the device on the tablet, turn off tablet and start at step one. This usually corrects the issue. *On the tablet the Over Metered Connection should be turned on in PC and Device Settings.
